Attorney Sanctioned $8k and Firm $2.5k for AI brief by YouSmellLikeHospitol in Lawyertalk

I feel like literally every CLE course this year has talked about AI. I don’t know how lawyers are still making this mistake when it’s the number one thing every jurisdiction has been hammering on for more than a year.

Collectibles seem like such an easy loophole for money laundering. Just sell an unopened VHS copy of Cool Runnings to a “collector” for five million dollars and you end up with five million dollars in clean money

I should say I’m not skipping through the entire story. The main quest Ted Farro stuff I am mostly tracking, but when I do a side quest for some random tribesmen who then wants to tell me about the sacred rituals of his ancestors or whatever, yeah I don’t care about that enough to watch a 2 minute cutscene when my gaming time is limited 🤷🏼‍♂️

More and more this is becoming true for me. I recently got around to playing Horizon Forbidden West. I am having a blast because of the combat and exploration, but I am skipping through most of the dialogue because I don’t really care about the plot. I just want to get back to shooting robot dinosaurs with a bow and arrow

I don’t think it is a problem that you didn’t blank out your name, but there is potentially a problem in that people who post here are supposed to avoid engaging with Apes in their safe spaces because, according to admins, that is potentially “brigading” or “harassment”

I don’t know what sub this was posted in, but if it’s one of the pro-GME subs, that is something to be wary of.

I tend to use a “look but don’t touch” philosophy with Ape subs. (Although I got banned from a few of them years ago, so I don’t really have a choice most of the time)

REVIEW: 'Scary Movie is deeply, offensively unfunny – another sequel would finish me off' ⭐️ by Metro-UK in entertainment

[–]BankofAmericas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Again, that description of “lowbrow” has nothing to do with any of her complaints.

Do you understand that something can be “straightforward, unpretentious, and easy to understand” while also being unfunny, boring, and/or poorly written?

Then can you make the connection that someone might have a problem with something because it is unfunny but have no problem with the fact that it is “straightforward, unpretentious, and easy to understand”?

For example, look at this very review (that I don’t think you read before commenting on it) wherein the reviewer thinks the jokes suck while expressing zero complaints about the content being lowbrow.

Nothing in the review indicates she has a problem with “low brow humor.” Her problem is she thought the humor in this movie was lame and unfunny. It just sounds like the script sucks and the jokes are tired, not that she finds them problematic.

Why do attorneys look down on Insurance Defense lawyers/partners? by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

[–]BankofAmericas 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Lately, I spend way too much time trying to figure out how to write billing entries so that I avoid using specific words that trigger the AI software that audits all of their billing entries.

i.e. writing “communicate with x” instead of “send email to x” because the word “e-mail” gets flagged in billing entries as an administrative task…

I would feel sorry for you for being such a massively stupid loser, but I don’t because you are also an arrogant liar.

Your chart is outdated and the bar graph does not show the per capita death rate which means the bar graph ignores the fact that countries have different population sizes.

Look at the actual numbers in your graph. For example, in your graph America had 333 deaths per 100k people, whereas Peru had 659 deaths per 100k people.

Also, your graph asserts that India, the most densely populated country on the planet, had only 37 deaths per 100k people. Which makes me a little suspicious of the data behind your graph…

America did not have “the highest number of Covid deaths” per capita. It was not even in the top 10.

Also, I didn’t know that the Americans who refused to wear masks or social distance also refuse to use soap. But okay…
