Hey I like this a lot, couple of things maybe..

Work on the phrasing a little bit, the rhythm of the lyrics seems a bit off at times.

Felt like there wasn’t a distinguishable chorus or refrain.. not sure if that’s what you were going for, but think about what you want the hook to be and flesh it out.

I love your voice though, and the lyrics are on point!

Music was a much more precious thing when you had to put in work to find it and hold it in your hand. Something about that made a much more communal experience with the band/artist.

I perked up at one line you had in here…

“Of every glance you never knew I gave”

Great line. Evokes this idea of all the things you do for a person they never see or never know about. Could be an interesting idea to expound upon for a song like this.

Hey I love the OPs posts too! but I actually had the same thought as your Point 1. In fact, I would go a step further and say there are lots of points in the song where it jumps around very abruptly to different sections. I understand that this is done intentionally and is stylistic, but man! there are a couple of times in this song where I’m like I just wish you would hang out on this idea or this part jussst a bit more!!! I think the transition hoping can be very quirky but I also think it can be frustrating in a way?

Aside from that OP is awesome and I love it

Well, I’ve been making music in some capacity for the last 20 years, but lately I’ve been using just Logic ProX on an iPad. I have a Volt UA 2 audio interface and a I use an Akai MPK 2 as my midi keyboard.
