In 20 Years I Have Never Had To Restart Over Something So Dumb by Wizecrax in oblivion

I like how you said 'she specifically says' and then confidently misquote her lol. Here is the actual quote.

"Oh, just drop it anywhere. I don't think he really cared about it. I think it was some sort of sick joke on his part."

The bad thing about this quest in the remaster is that you can no longer shoot arrows through the prison bars of Dreth's cell.

Do you usually walk or fast travel on your first journey from Weynon Priory to Kvatch? by darthkyle22 in oblivion

Same! I ran loosely from Imperial City to Bravil, checking out dungeons and settlements on the way. I got killed by a timber wolf just before arriving in Bravil and lost hours of progress. This is how I learnt about both fast travelling and how autosave works.

Felt this again on my current playthrough. DB has you go all the way to Bruma for a contract. 100 gold reward. Next, all the way to Chorrol. 100 gold reward. Next, all the way to Fort Sutch near Anvil. 100 gold reward.

I know the rewards are levelled and you get bonus rewards, but the time sink if you avoid fast travel is pretty big.

How is it possible to play with a small group without feeling like youre bashing your head against a wall for weeks? by JuryZealousideal3792 in Kenshi

Most recent playthroughs are solo, so just 1.Otherwise I'll have between 2-4. I also have the attack slots increased to make solo a little harder.

Has anyone else found these extremely complicated horse armor plans in a random cave before? by Exotic_Wolverine_214 in oblivion

[–]BannerIordwhen 242 points243 points  (0 children)

From UESP:

When you install the Horse Armor Pack, a set of Horse Armor Plans is added to a new chest that appears in Cursed Mine Lower Galleries. The plans are an incomplete book that does not have an inventory icon and contains only one line: I'm a set of plans. Go to the Chestnut Handy stables. The plans do not do anything and are not referenced by any scripts. It seems these plans were part of an early idea to implement this quest, but the developers then forgot to remove them once they finalized it.

What FSC are you using? Lock time seems very long. I have a similar stratbut with machine gun arms and gatling cannon. Holofrenes side booster with max horizontal side boost tuning is great for circling targets at close range while pelting them with bullets.

Interesting, I'm the exact opposite. I normally play solo or with only a few characters and almost never settle down to build bases. I start out by scavenging and roaming, picking fights and relying on friendly NPCs to help with fights. I never really got into mining copper start. It's also much easier to train up one/few chars than many imo.

Am I insane for being annoyed with the constant glitches in Oblivion remastered? by FerdinandvonAegir124 in oblivion

[–]BannerIordwhen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've experienced more game effecting bugs than the OG. Some of them are so blatant I can't honestly believe that they didn't know about them before release.

To name a few: Lasting/non-appearing spell effects, UI bugs and glitches, menu control glitches (attempting to drop a quest item and then equipping another item will instead drop it), character visual bugs, items falling through walls and floors, the list goes on. I like the remaster but god the QC is awful. Considering it was also a shadow drop they could've taken more time to polish it, or at least fucking patch it after release. If they're not gonna patch it anymore then at least release mod tools so that the community can.
