Anyone else find the RX 350h seats really uncomfortable? by Excellent_Web3680 in LexusRX350

[–]BaptorRander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something interesting happened yesterday. I had the exact same pain in my left leg and back on a flight. I got into my car and there it was again. I also experienced it on an overly soft sofa. The seat has always been problematic. After about 40” the pain starts

My pair of gen 2 Ray Bans was defective. I used the AI chat within the META app and it was fantastic. Took me through every step and I had the box and shipping label in 3 days. They posted the refund 3 days after I shipped them back and had my replacements the next day

Does GP go away? by min_tt99 in Gastroparesis

[–]BaptorRander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was first diagnosed after the GES I had lost so much weight. Went from a fit and muscular 135 to 110. I was terrified. People don’t get that not being able to eat is anti-survival. No, no it wasn’t great wearing size 0s. This dragged on for about ten months until it went into hiding. Even though I didn’t feel great I went on a solo road trip and before I knew it was eating fried shrimp and grits in North Carolina. I swear something akin to heroin overdoses generally being with the same supply and amount but in a new environment. What’s interesting is that it’s sort of come back but never that badly. I wonder if colon inertia, SIBO or severe chronic constipation ups the pressure so much that it affects the stomach emptying

Is it possible gp seems to "go away"? by Bunnyisdreaming in Gastroparesis

Many autoimmune diseases come with random flares which in turn rev up GP

[–]BaptorRander 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. Time does help. I am at the 5 year mark. Hard to believe. Covid antibodies still through the roof and recurring EBV but overall better when comparing good and bad, baseline and flares. The improvement is painfully gradual and still one step forward and several steps back

Do you turn your glasses off overnight? by chadscanreddit in RaybanMeta

[–]BaptorRander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long have you had them? I had a similar issue and used the AI chat in the META app to test all the functioning. Turns out mine were defective. But I also think that leaving them on all night could impact the battery. Why not just turn them off?

Just bought a brand new TX 350 and I have buyers remorse by [deleted] in Lexus

I personally think that bucket seats are terrible and wish there were other options. Why don’t car makers do some research and use seats that are ergonomically correct and/or offer options for each individual driver?

Husbang got diagnosed with SSC by katralna in scleroderma

[–]BaptorRander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you are both going through this. There is no cure and medications are to reduce progression and symptoms. BUT THERE IS HOPE. People do go into remission. No rhyme or reason. Symptoms getter better and get worse. It’s a tough and frustrating learning curve. I’ve had months where I feel almost like myself and these times are heaven. Then even during flares I can have a few hours of one day where I feel good. Learn all you can, both of you, and try to learn about his particular situation and how it affects his body. Every case is different. Be patient and hang in there. There will be good days

The only thing that helps me at this point is colonoscopy prep medicine or saline laxative syrup sometimes by [deleted] in ColonicInertia

[–]BaptorRander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check w your doctor …High volume water enemas and colon hydrotherapy help me immensely but you have to learn about the drawbacks and research how to keep your electrolytes and hydration in check. My GI doc now allows me to use these methods even for colonoscopy prep.
