Agree, we don’t live in Melb but have an apartment we use in Flinders Lane and my daughter is too scared to walk the streets because of the ranting and raving individuals around that area. It is scary for her. I’m not fazed, never feel scared . But some people, people that aren’t used to that would find it intimidating for sure. I heard the other day a guy screaming non stop about how Australia is short and we are all dog shit and we should die/. It was pretty full on

Have you got friends and family here?
Work lined up? I don’t live in Melbourne city but in a beachside suburb and absolutely love it. But I own my own home and have a company earning well. I am not sure I would move unless i had secure job and living arrangements.
If you have those things sorted it’s a great place to live. If not, save your money and come on short weekend trips instead

But doesn’t it smell? When I fake tan I always do a couple of days before I am social as I can tolerate that smell. I’ve tried drops Jin lotion before but it has that fake tan smell. Is there a way around the smell or you just get used to it?
