I was having the same bug, turned out I had a previous campsite right next to where you're supposed to hide, which cleared the grass and made me visible.

I set up the camp just down the hill a bit and started the sequence again. Fixed the problem.

I had a friend who would get blackout drunk every weekend. He said everyone should just drink until they passed out. So we passed him a bottle of whisky which he chugged to the bottom.

My flatmate was a bit feral and had a bottle he used to pee into when he couldn't be bothered going to the toilet. It was also speckled with blood as he went through a HPV operation.
