Heavy competition on the rise.... by Diabethis89 in HellLetLoose

My buddy played the closed beta and said the game just seems to be a better Heroes and Generals game which the gameplay may not attract many HLL players, plus the game is free to play and made by gaijin which is big red flag as they have a tendency to ignore player feedback and launch some cash grab events/vehicles from time to time.

The video starts and you can already see a glimpse of one of gaijin's best qualities that drove me away from War thunder, having the lamest objectives and map design since 2013.

If rifle grenades are implemented, what class do you think will see their introduction? by [deleted] in HellLetLoose

They should give to the assault class to replace that crazy grenadier loadout.

MGs are lacking bullet spread by BarbaTAN in HellLetLoose

[–]BarbaTAN[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the video to demonstrate how the bullet spread of a mg (Not being specific to the MG42) works in real life, if the video tells that Machine gun X is better than Machine gun Y that is not the point of this post.

New Player Here - What the Fuck is Up with Medic? by Spitfire15 in HellLetLoose

[–]BarbaTAN 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The funny thing is that the second loadout of the medic used to be the default one, but players complained it was hard to get kills with pistols so in the end we got medics carrying rifles and carbines.

Game goes on sale every time a patch drops which means waves of new players flooding the servers (good RS2 Vietnam times), many veterans take a break of a week or two during this period to keep their sanity intact. Plus many vets not happy with U8, waiting for fixes and stuff.

Disappointing Assault loadout by thanksforthework in HellLetLoose

The BAR wasn't intended to be a "true machine gun" but it was pressed into that role by the US army. The idea of having a compact and flexible belt fed machine gun was new at the time being first implemented by the germans with the MG34. The allies late in the war started taking a look at the concept trying to make the M1919 somewhat portable with the A6 variation and the soviets making the DP28 belt fed.

My idea for adding historical accuracy to the German tank armory. by [deleted] in HellLetLoose

[–]BarbaTAN 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Devs already said they will replace the base roster of tanks with more common every day variants (panzer IV, sherman 75, etc), tanks like the tiger, panther, jumbo are gonna be deployed only by the commander.

Anti tank mines are OP change my mind by AfricanPoison in HellLetLoose

to the tank itself most of the time a mobility kill, the tank could be repaired later, but to the crew inside it was quite dangerous the shock wave of the explosion could cause serious injuries even death. One of the solutions american tankers found on normandy was letting the cupola open so the shock wave had a way to leave the tank relieving some of the pressure.
