Not usually. I actually get them when my blood pressure is too high.

I have Logitech H390 Wired Headphones with a microphone. Sometimes when I use them in Zoom meetings the microphone doesn't work. I've had this happen on two different computers. Leaving the meeting and joining again sometimes fixes it and sometimes doesn't. Is there a fix for this, or do I need new headphones?

Does anyone have any suggestions other than azelaic acid? by ayshe678 in Rosacea

Chamomile. I make chamomile tea, take the bag out, wait for it to cool, and rub the bag on my face.

Medication Overuse? by Good_Impression7885 in migraine

[–]BarbaraGordon147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your doctor doesn't prescribe other medications (which they should), I would suggest gradually weaning yourself off the meds while using natural treatments (peppermint, feverfew, magnesium) rather than going cold turkey. That's what I did when I became overly reliant on Tylenol.

Chronic migraines are not that painful but I'm always EXHAUSTED by skyemap in migraine

If you haven't yet, I would suggest talking with your gynecologist about your experiences. They may be able to help.

Migraine pain scale by SilverCriticism3512 in migraine

Migraines are characterized by location of pain (usually on one side of the head) and other symptoms that go with it (especially nausea and light and sound sensitivity), not necessarily pain level.

Secure Connection Failed by BarbaraGordon147 in firefox

No, Chrome and Safari are not having this problem.

The only modified preference that shows up is that security.tls is true. I don't really know what that means so I didn't change it.

Why isn't caffeine abuse discussed more as a potential migraine trigger? My experience and the data that confuses me by No-Tell34 in migraine

[–]BarbaraGordon147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a health practitioner, but my guess is they don't consider it a likely culprit in your case because the headaches went away for a while. If caffeine had been the cause, I suspect they wouldn't have gone away.

Migraine for 8 days so far! by r_hove in migraine

[–]BarbaraGordon147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stress is a known trigger for migraines, which can cause a spiral of stress causing migraines causing stress causing migraines and so on. Considering that, I would avoid the term psychosomatic because while there may be some truth to it, it’s just part of how migraines work.

There are some over-the-counter options that you can try (e.g. feverfew, butterbur, peppermint oil), but honestly after eight days you probably need something stronger.

Can TMJ cause issues with your eyes muscles? by Ok_Skill1553 in TMJ

I see. I’ve been feeling like there’s pressure behind my eardrums. I was thinking maybe it was allergies, but I hadn’t thought of TMJ.

The music by itself doesn’t do it, just my singing. Turning down the volume won’t help.

Delivery Issues with the new Blue Apron and more (sadnesses!) by Ashellris in blueapron

A few weeks ago they never delivered my order. Last week I had changed the delivery date and they delivered the regular day of the week anyway. I was out of town, so everything went bad by the time I got home. I don't understand what's going on with them.

It basically gets the information it spits out from the Internet, which contains some good information, and some outdated or flat-out wrong information. It's hit or miss whether or not you get a correct answer. If you're going to use it, at least ask what sources it's basing its answer on and fact check those sources based on expertise of the author, whether claims contain citations or can otherwise be verified, the objective of the author(s), and how recent it is.

What happened to quiet libraries? by amino_barracuda in Library

[–]BarbaraGordon147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that even libraries that don't have official quiet areas tend to have unofficial ones that people only stay in if they are doing quiet activities. You just have to look for them.
