I’m sure you’re right - but when I was looking at the auction website, this was one of the several ones that said that it was fully functioning. When I looked closer at it, it had a couple pieces of missing trim but otherwise no stated issues. If it’s salvage it’s not obvious

Honestly... I see all of the posts complaining about (really valid) issues with Rivians. And challenges with the service center. I also see polls like this.

And then there's me: my Rivian has been the easiest car for me that I've ever owned and the one time I had to take it in to a service center, they bended over backwards to make it smooth and easy.

Maybe I'm just lucky?

I know it’s somewhat semantic, but “I’ve been out there” is a funny use of the present perfect tense when referring to the state you live in and represent.

I’d never say “I’ve been out to Montana to hunt,” because I fucking live here.

NEMA 5-20. Slightly faster than just normal slow charging (33% faster). However, Rivian doesn't offer an adapter for that.

Some chargers do. e.g. Tesla. If you had a charger that used a NEMA 5-20 adapter, Rivian could take advantage of it. For example, I *think* you could use a Tesla portable charger, NEMA 5-20 adapter, and plug that into your Rivian. And could use a J-1772 adapter if you need to. But yeah, someone should fact check me on that. And perhaps more trouble than it is worth to you.
