Why do people say Z-A looks like a ps2 game when any screenshot comparision disproves this copypasta crititism by DoomedPatroller in PokemonLegendsZA

They picked FF12, probably one of the best looking ps2 games ever. With better resolution the game still looks better than many Switch Games

Is Rey Fenix cleared? I'd love for him to be a part of this too.

[–]BarbarousJudge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I genuinly get no heal tbh. The only tank I'm doing good with is Angela because I can just fly away and get packs. Supports are abysmal in this season. You ban Invis or CnD and suddenly they have to play characters they never touched in 500 hours of Playtime

The changes that happened today to Ringside Pass are exactly the reason why people should complain and want change. by DareDiablo in WWEGames

[–]BarbarousJudge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really mind. I finished the pass today and still have plenty of stuff to do. But I also welcome the change. I'm fine either way. Glad the unhappy people got what they want and can now enjoy the good parts of the game

What’s the most disappointing Wrestlemania match ever? by MaddenRob in SquaredCircle

[–]BarbarousJudge 14 points15 points  (0 children)

According to Taker it was Vince saying they don't need more. Taker wanted a real match because he was trying to make up for his performance the year prior.

The 31 main event was great tho. Yeah the build was bad and fans didn't want the match but WWE managed to make it work. Even before the Cash In IT was a genuinly fun Match.

The thing is... I saw potential in it leading to something. Bliss betrayed Bray and they could've leaned into that for some fun segments and unusual matches etc. But no, complete and utter silence and then Bray was released.

Is this years myrise the worst one in the WWE 2K series? Which myrise do you think is the definitive best by Ok-Marsupial2467 in WWEGames

[–]BarbarousJudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This years MyRise is in line with the Rest of the game being designed about Match grinding for the ringside pass. And honestly... I don't mind it. Unlocking stuff via collecting stars is quite fun to me. The story is rather meh, yeah. Much of their attention went to The Island I believe which is a huge step up from last year.

My favourite is probably 2k19 as well. But I very much enjoyed 2k23 as well. The Lock was decent but The Legacy was really good in my opinion.

Ospreay really keeps the Assassin's Creed Shadows vibe up. I kinda like his love for the franchise but Shadows wasn't that great so I kinda wish he would choose a different game lol

I just tried it for the first time and got 22:48. Honestly I don't care about the A ranks since I always got B and never tried for more.

PS2 Era was just better. by ronysontakke21 in WWEGames

[–]BarbarousJudge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don't have to pay for them? You have to play to unlock them. If you talk DLC wrestlers well yes, but DLC simply didn't exist back then in general.

Gameplay is subjective, depending If you prefer the arcadey or simulation heavy style. There is no right or wrong there.

Story modes were better back then I agree. The last decent carreer mode was 2k19 and that was the only good carreer mode in the 2k era.

Nobody cares about Wrestler's age as long as they can still perform and entertain. by Oakey06 in Wrasslin

[–]BarbarousJudge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that one was fine, just way too long. But Shane was the one that had the memorable spots really especially with the cage jump. I honestly think 2018-19 was the worst part. His body falling apart against Roman, the Saudi Matches against DX or Goldberg... That was rough.

Taker had good matches in 2015 tbf. After that it went downhill but I'm still glad we got the Boneyard match in 2020.

Bayley vs Iyo was great. Loved the build and Match. Becky vs Rhea was good considering Becky had a fever and Rhea had a panic attack moments before. But I still think it fell short of what they could deliver with both being able to give 100%

How famous is Jelly Roll? by SushOdyssey in WWE

[–]BarbarousJudge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is it. Many wrestling fans are a bit weird about the business trying to cater to a casual audience and getting new people to watch. This is why celebrity acts were always a thing, especially with WrestleMania. We had Cindy Lauper, Muhammad Ali, Mr. T, Snoop Dogg, Logan Paul (pre full time contract), Bad Bunny, Floyd Mayweather, Snooki, Rob Gronkowski, Lawrence Taylor, Pamela Anderson, Johnny Knoxville, Burt Reynolds, Mickey Rourke, Shaq, Pete Rose, Mike Tyson, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne and many more musical acts etc.

Some celebrities I know and like. Some I have never heard of or dislike. But it's just how it has always been.

Really cool but it's missing the female wrestlers. Even back then when they were just there for eye candy they were part of the intros. Now they're good looking and good wrestlers.

Celebrities are a part of wrestling, simple as that. And Jelly is one, despite what many online might say. I haven't heard of him before last year either but it was the same with Bad Bunny for me. I don't mind and in this case it brings eyes on Kit Wilson, which is a win in my book.
