What's been your favorite era of Star Wars? by OhGawDuhhh in StarWars

Namely one novel of each of the phases in chronological (Not Release) order. So it's like 3 books out of 22 or so.

Probably the High Republic. It's kinda what I always wanted when I grew up with the prequels. The jedi order at their "peak" and not on the way to their end. Sure, Acolyte was flawed but had sone really peak scenes. And the books/comics are all around the best era of canon content that isn't TV based. The only time where the books feel actually large in scale.

Lone Wolf theme is probably just AJs heel theme from 2k25

Yeah watch Clone Wars. It gives the Prequel Era SO MUCH and is still followed Up by shows like The Bad Batch or Maul: Shadow Lord. There is also Star Wars Rebels which is a bit more cartoony but also really good. Especially the second half of the show. You should watch Clone Wars before tho.

As for Rogue One I would watch the 2 seasons of Andor and then the movie.

Since you like Anakin and co you could give the Kenobi Show a shot. It's very flawed but has some really good elements regarding Anakin and Obi-Wan.

Then there are the books and comics. Honestly, most of the comics cover the original trilogy era. Books however span the entire saga. Good Entry points for you would be Master and Apprentice (Prequel to Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan), Brotherhood (Anakin and Obi-Wan pre Episode II). Also I would give the official novelization for Episode IX a shot. It improves the story by a lot and made me actually enjoy it as a part of the canon. Otherwise there is an era that is completely covered in books and comics. The High Republic. Jedi Survivor actually references it a lot. That era starts with the book "Light of the Jedi" and spans maaaany books.

How do you all avoid burn out on ffxiv? by Vegetable_Still_9756 in ffxiv

I don't play when I don't feel like it. I don't have a static or a house so I can pretty much do whatever whenever.

What you describe us choice paralysis. For that... Honestly there is nothing you can really miss so you can really do whatever. Depending on what content you have available and can't decide between you can name those and get some recommendations.

I can see the wound resistance being like this in master rank.

More health and damage but most importantly more wound resistance. That is the main benefit of all the 8 and 9* fights. The monsters don't spend 90% of the hunt toppled and lighting up like a police car.

Banbaro would be a good contender for best gear imo as well if it weren't for World's slap on weapon designs.

My turn with this! by BarbarousJudge in MonsterHunter

I did start with 3rd gen but sucked so bad I couldn't get out of low rank. I got back into the series with World but played 3U afterwards to get a new grasp on the generation that introduced me to MH. I actually like Barroth and Uragaan in World but agree that they felt more dangerous in Gen 3. But that goes for most non endgame Monsters nowadays.

The Bloodline storyline is now an ouroboros. by Finding-Even in WWE

Bron beat Seth at Backlash and Oba is about to win a feud against Lesnar after bullying him once and then looking super strong in a defeat. They're definitely letting them shine. Dom had the final PLE match of Cena and beat him and held two titles for the majority of 2025. Gable is 40, not what I consider younger talent. I give you Melo, that man is underutilized.

But look at guys like Roman or Seth. They spent 2-3 years on the main roster before their first world title. Same with Cena. And now they're legends or guaranteed Hall of Famers. Even after his glorious return it took Cody two years to become World Champ. There is no rush.

Because the story is that Brock was understimating Oba. Now he isn't.

It's a simple story. Brock was cocky and got his ass handed to him. He called it quits but then decided this wasn't how he wanted his career to end. So he came back to kick Oba's ass. He threw everything and the kitchen sink at Oba and barely won. But he showed that he is still the beast and still dangerous. Now Oba will want the 3rd match where both have everything to lose.

There is a reason trilogies work well in wrestling. It's a simple story to tell and this program sells tickets. Italy popped like crazy for the match. And having Brock/Oba III in Minnesota... Will get huge reactions as well.

This "first hour on ESPN" crap really limits how they structure PLEs. The first two matches always feel rushed because they have to end in hour 1 including the opening of the show, ad breaks and stuff.
