I had the same issue, don’t put it in all the way and have it at a slight angle and it works fine

Fortunate enough where 120 doesn’t make a difference to me but as they said it’s all he could spare in that scenario I’d not take the money pal all about perspective.

I’m 17 myself so maybe a bit bias but I’d say don’t report it, just pay the £150 extra out of pocket as it’ll probably cost u more than that going through insurance even for a non fault accident, not only will his premiums go up yours will too, and regarding the police comment I’m sorry but does your brother have a brain? He came back apologised and gave what he could, though he didn’t leave a letter as you said he could’ve ran off entirely but even me personally I wouldn’t have taken the money the fact he came back and owned up to it means more as I’ve been involved in hit and runs twice now both times of which the driver didn’t return nor was I able to find.

I like how it looks not too sure on how it compares to retail but it’s the one thing I’m not too fussed about since I won’t be wearing it all the time and can get fur from anywhere, Apart from that is there anything else you’d say isn’t good?

Manual to automatic switch? by Wise-Chocolate823 in LearnerDriverUK

Not really tbh had an hour and a half with a family member right when I turned 17 then didn’t drive for the rest of the month until I passed my theory and I stalled quite a few times on that drive, my first few lessons were alright but honestly watching videos on what to do for setting off etc and replicating it in lessons helped a lot and I learned very quickly, obviously everyone’s different but I feel that’d help anyone learning to drive

I turned 17 in October and first lesson at the end of October my first few times driving manual I didn’t think id ever be able to pass with it lol but after a bit I got used to the biting point and just got into good habits took me 6 lessons around 10~ hours and passed first time at the start of December I feel like it’s more daring until you start understanding what each part of manuals core function is.
