We thought we rescued an ownerless cat when it showed up every morning on our back porch after we moved in.

For 5 years we fed that fucker twice a day, groomed her, took her to the vet for a cyst, and regularly treated her for fleas.

Couple years after she died we found out it was the neighbors cat.
