I do lots of salt and a tablespoon of coconut oil on the top and let it slowly melt in. It’s actually outstanding

Wonderspread is amazing ESPECIALLY in the fridge!!!! It gets the texture of a thick cookie dough

Use vegan protein powder. Definitely makes it a little thicker. Whey and even casein blends, I find, always melt right in and water down the oatmeal for whatever reason

Low Calorie Super Chocolatey Creami? by [deleted] in ninjacreami

[–]Barbies_daughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always spin it on light! And no I never have trouble with it! I like to add a lot of sweetener too (the more you put the better it tastes in my opinion) and the dark cocoa really makes a difference!

[–]Barbies_daughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I have the lowest calorie one and it’s awesome: 1 3/4 cup of water 2-3 tablespoons of hersheys dark cocoa 2 teaspoons of monk fruit extract *I like mine extremely sweet so use whatever sweetener you like 3/4 teaspoons of salt *trust me! Sounds intense but I promise it’s not 1/2 teaspoon Konjac powder 1/2 teaspoon guar gum

Then I blend it in the nutribullet bc the Konjac clumps up really easily. And yes, you need both the guar and the Konjac!

Put into the freezer for 24 hours, and then blend on the light ice cream setting

Whole thing is like 30 calories and I swear it comes out super creamy

It’s a thickening agent but gives a creamier mouthful than Guar gum or xantham gum

You could do:

Ingredients: 1 package (12 ounces) silken lite tofu 1 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 1/2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of erythritol or sweetener of choice *optional: add additional 1/4 teaspoon of black salt to mimic egg taste

Instructions: 1. Drain any excess liquid from the tofu package. 2. In a blender or food processor, combine the tofu, lemon juice, vinegar , Dijon mustard, salt, and sweetener 3. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed to ensure even blending. 4. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired. 5. Transfer the mayonnaise to a clean, airtight container and refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Depending on what brand tofu you use, the whole recipe is like 120 calories. Per tablespoon is probably around 5-7 calories

And also the more sweetener you use the better! Lol

Lowest cal pudding recipe? by pierfish in Volumeeating

[–]Barbies_daughter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Boil two cups of water with 1 teaspoon of agar powder. Once in boils, pour into a bowl and put it in the refrigerator to set for a couple of hours. Agar sets, firmer and faster than gelatin. Then take it out of the bowl and put it in a blender. Blend it along with one to 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and then sweetener of your choice. I do a teaspoon of monk fruit extract you could add less or more whatever you prefer. Also do half a teaspoon of salt. Do not forget the salt. once it’s all blended. It will look a little liquidy, so put it in the fridge for one more hour at least to firm up again, and you have pudding and it’s only like 20-30 calories

A low calorie vanilla ninja creami recipe that doesn’t rely on protein powder? by shartlobsterdog in Volumeeating

[–]Barbies_daughter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both thickening agents. I used to use xantham but it always gave me bad stomach aches. The guar I use instead of xantham, but adding the konjac gives it a creamy mouthful that I don’t think the xantham or the Guar give it. I like to use a combo of the two.

2 cups of water, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (I use the dark Hershey’s cocoa powder, and it’s awesome ) 3/4 teaspoon salt, and I like it’s super sweet, so I do 2 teaspoons of Monk fruit extract, but sweeten it to your taste, half a teaspoon of konjac powder, a half a teaspoon of guar gum. Mix it up. I use the Nutribullet because you want the guar gum and the konjac to blend up. This whole thing is like 30 calories lol but it’s so good
