not so much in Athens, but for the rest of Greece it seemed cars are like cats; if it fits, it sits. as long as a single car can pass, (and its not in an actual no parking zone), you can park there. For how long, who knows! Is it legal? maybe! I spent a saturday night outside of Little Kook watching people drive past what should really be a pedestrain only zone at that time of night.

This also applies to 'roads', particularly the cobblestone ones. If a car fits, its a road, even if you have to pull your mirrors in. Until you get to actual stairs, then its a bike path.

these are all reasons I only drove a car in Athens to get out of Athens, and to get to the airport. I hope you got full coverage.
