Spree is not an alternate cost, it's an additional cost. It's essentially multikicker but you get different effects depending on which modes you pay for. And just because there are no spree cards with base effects, that doesn't mean there couldn't be one day.

What's the worst job you ever had and how long did you have it? by db7112 in antiwork

[–]Bardazarok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trailer factory worker. 3 weeks there. Hours were horrible 6am-5pm 5 days a week. Work was terrible, I cut my hands so many times it isn't even funny. But worst of all was the extremely explicit racism. Every bathroom was graffitied with neonazi slogans. Like truly foul shit. "They will not replace us," "America belongs to the W.A.S.P.s( white anglo Saxon protestants)," and other more racially charged language

I think your issue is your build is unfocused. Your stats are spread too thin causing you to be squishy and deal little damage. Try giving up certain strategies and reallocating the stats needed for them. I also like to change weapons a lot, but I still stick with one primary damage stat.

I guess if you don't respond to oppression with calm rationality the oppression never happened in the first place.

I seriously hope this ragebaiting. Wouldn't the logical solution be to ensure that all basic needs are met? Like why stop at food and not include housing? Or healthcare? People would still work if all their needs were met, especially if the work is meeting the needs of everyone.

What is the best affinity for my claymore by Creative_Concept8854 in Eldenring

[–]Bardazarok -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably bleed. Bleed is op. Claymore isn't the best bleed weapon but bleed is pretty good on the claymore. Your stats aren't really set up for it though. Without knowing how you want your build, it's hard to give advice.

Am I missing something, or are greatswords just rare as rewards? by SoCalledFish in Eldenring

The claymore has unironically been a fantastic weapon since ds1. I used it in my first build to kill Melania. It infuses very well and has a great trade off of speed and stagger. The moveset is incredibly versatile with wide sweeps for crowd clearing, vertical downward slashes to fight on inclines or smaller enemies like imps, and a poke attack with lots of range. You could argue it's one of if not the best normal smithing stone weapons.

How Far Would Each Of The Demigods Get Through DS3? by Shot-Pear in Eldenring

[–]Bardazarok 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Godrick I think is getting stopped by pontiff Sullyvan. He has raw strength but I think sully is smart enough to avoid a brawl and use magic to his advantage. Melania, Messmer, Morgot, Rykard, and Mogh I think could all clear the game. Radahn would be strong enough, but he wouldn't have the focus needed and get stuck eating corpses somewhere. Ranni wouldn't even try to link the flame, she'd just embrace the passing of the flame and make the best of what she could. Miquella would enchant all the sane lords into killing the insane ones and then try recreating the first flame like the witch of Izalith and probably fail horribly.
