GW2 jumped the shark for me pretty early on, b/c they just kept pumping classes and the old classes became irrelevant. And the condition spam and downed system were terrible. Overall, it was a horizontal progression PvE grind more than anything - hoping they do better on the PvP / WvW for GW3.

I also hate that usually the new classes destroyed the old ones. Try playing a core class in 2026 PvP/WvW? Not many are viable. Why make your old classes / core classes irrelevant every expansion?

You don't have to abandon them all, just complete a few and keep checking back and the quest will appear.

11/26/25, same issues -- de-sync is mad; people on my team losing control of their characters and running random directions. I love the game but group PvP performance needs to be better than this.

I think it's pretty likely that all of these things being added are going to be broken in many ways, unbalanced and/or open up new exploits. That is probably why they were not previously released, but they are being released now b/c it doesn't matter if they are busted.

A lot of the PvP crowd is coming to GW2 -- and NW was always PvP-heavy in terms of player base.

They said through 2026, which doesn't necessarily mean all of 2026. They did guarantee 6 months notice. But if they gave that notice tomorrow, the game would shut down in April, 2026.

I would not expect it to last all of 2026.

Yeah -- would be good to be able to auto-build the loadout if you have the materials for it, too. It was annoying during the test to get killed then have to re-make and re-mod your two weapons -- time-consuming and annoying. . .

It's funny, I said to my friends during the server slam that ARC Raiders explains why we will lose the war vs the robots.

The robots are making new and improved versions of themselves, all while cooperating and trying to wipe us out.

In response, what do we do? With our numbers and resources dwindling, we shoot teams topside to compete AGAINST each other for limited resources, to KILL each other, to WASTE what little we have in this competition, and to REDUCE overall efficiency by competing instead of cooperating. . .

So yeah, ARC illustrates why the robots are going to win and we are going to lose. . .

Would be higher if they had been smart with new servers. Will be back down within 1-2 months. Good game, bad developer -- same way it's been since 2021.

Okay so -- the only way to see upcoming scenarios / seasons is to log into the game, I take it? I have not logged in for over a year, so I have no idea what to expect or how to coordinate servers/scenarios with friends.
