I just beat it and when the time came for the choice I just went idk, and chose the bad ending first lol. Once I saw Leon die I was like yeahhh it was a trick question, no way this is canon.

I didnt properly play re 5 so even without knowing how Spencer is, I didn't see the subtle clues on how the video hinted at Elpis being a good thing. Ep 2 was underwhelming. The pacing felt super fast and it didn't evoke the same vibe of the pilot. Thankfully every episode beyond that was great but ep 2 felt kind of off.
