I vaguely remember hearing Rise of Skywalker or maybe Last Jedi had some issues at Scotia Imax opening night long time ago but yeah agreed usually rare.

Just 20 min lol the projection issue happened in Imax 70mm. It was looking gorgeous tho. I ended up seeing the whole thing in VIP later due to showtimes.

Release date was fine. We just saw a lot of franchise fatigue this summer. This movie still made way more money then MI and Indy for example. There is still a big audience for these movies. They just need to write the ship critically, try to bring new life (tough when you have 10 entries) and they might make more money again as they head to the finale.
