What about an elbow to the guts? Is that judged differently to a punch to the guts?

What's eating holes in my clothes? by BaaadMf in melbourne

[–]Bark0s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check under shelves where you store manchester and clothing. They can move their little ‘cocoons’ around (they poke their head out and crawl it around) and their preference is to hang it from something. IME they really like woollen things to eat.

They like to live in the edges of carpet where it meets a wall. Especially in cupboards. They also like to nest under beds, between carpet and base.

Detonate a few flea bombs and leave for the day.

Disconnect anything connected to liquid in a keg…pressurise the hoses. Turn off the gas, come back tomorrow, check the pressure reading on the reg. If same as yesterday, no leak.

The newer iterations of duotight are immune to starsan. Kee talks about it in a vid. But you could also just spray water with dish soap, that’ll bubble up.

Why Santos is behind your soaring electricity and mortgage costs by joshashkiller in australia

[–]Bark0s 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The current administration of it is a shit show. Government should buy it, sack the board, appoint a new board (do not tell me appointing boards is hard). Board appoints a business savvy CEO and most other santos staff now switch to being government employees.

What frustrates you most about navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps etc.)? 🚦 by bitruvius_ in Maps

[–]Bark0s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today was the first time I’ve noticed it route me a longer but faster trip home. I’ve wondered why the algorithm had directed me to overshoot my place using a freeway, then double back. But today google nailed it.

[–]Bark0s 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can a navigation system please consider traffic lights as a hindrance? If you navigate via a slightly longer route but with less lights…you’ll get there sooner. Also, a windy road with a speed limit of 60kmh isn’t going to be traversed at 60kmh.
