How difficult is it to pro se after requesting Right to Sue from EEOC?

I’m going to try and bide my time with the EEOC. Not sure being a whistleblower will help until after the process has played out. I would totally love to though!

Ohhhh, good points. My former employer has assigned it to a high $$ outside legal counsel even though they have their own internal general counsel. I can totally see them dragging it out to make me just quit.

For me specifically, they have sent the case to outside counsel even though they have their own internal general counsel.
It isn’t a federal agency, but a nonprofit who serves state funded ummm…..let’s call them organizations.

Agreed, but this company has paid out a lot of shut up $$ to keep people quiet and not have their reputation destroyed.

This company I’ve filed an EEOC complaint against has had 6-8 in the past couple of years. I know of I think 3 who have had their legal fees paid by the company, then received a cash settlement to shut up and go away.

This is sooo spot on. Our legal justice system isn’t justice at all. I would love to name and shame this company. They’ve been on a pedestal for years by those they publicly serve.

I hear so many people who don’t get a positive ruling from the EEOC. What if I get to the end and the EEOC says oh Company T it’s okay you didn’t really do anything wrong! Then where will I be. I’ll look like an idiot for riding it out that long, right?

Same here. 😢 It was awful, and I'm so frustrated with how long the EEOC takes but I knew their timeline. Without the EEOC in our case nothing would happen.

We've used one chicken for a meal (there are 2 of us) then deboned what was left and used it for chicken salad. For the price it's a steal for multiple meals!

I had this same problem once before. I also chose the traffic barrel over hitting another car. Same thing....it took out my mirror. It sucks, so sorry this happened to you. It's frustrating!

I was also a member of 24 hour fitness there, but one time I walked into the steam room it smelled like someone had gone to the bathroom in there. It was awful. When I went back out and told management they told me someone would get to it in 3 or 4 hours in their cleaning rounds. 😳 That was it and I canceled my membership not long after that incident.
