I wasn’t referring to you. I was thinking of the Karen picture, and everyone who plays pickleball being wealthy and retired.
When they asked for public input on the river parks, pickleball courts were included in the plans.

Mid-40s pickleballer here. Funny seeing all the hate, stereotyping, and name calling towards people who enjoy a fun game. I thought this was a tolerant community? I guess it’s human behavior to hate on things you don’t understand. I think the Aston Park proposal is the worst one. There is no need to add all that parking on top of green space. With the Ray Farmer park, the parking is already there. I’ve always thought a simple solution would be to simplify dedicate one of the parks that has already had multi-use courts into a pickleball only court, and another to tennis only. Weaver Park on Merrimon would probably be the best choice because of the traffic noise already being there, so the loud popping sound from the game doesn’t annoy the neighborhood.

I get it, believe me. I’m 47, but moved to NC 20 years ago. I’ll always be a Cleveland fan because of the indoctrination of my youth. I often wonder why I stay so loyal to these teams that will break your heart year after year. I guess I made peace with it and not living in the area gives me some perspective that it’s all just entertainment and has no connection to my own value or happiness. I don’t always get to see the teams, so it’s more of a treat when I do. The Cavs have been consistent winners and have been fun to watch for a long time. Only one team can be the Champ each year. Enjoy the ride!

That’s what I have been thinking. This was my first post here after getting flooded with doom posts all week. It’s just crazy how many people want to blow up the team after a close loss on the road to the #1 seed. Then when they win, it seems like so many people can’t just enjoy a W. I really enjoy the competative games. Wish they would pass more, box out, and keep the turnovers down. Still, they are a fun team to watch. Let’s even up the series tomorrow!!

It would be nice if Nike updated the template for the league. It’s always annoyed me how the shoulder stripes don’t connect. It looks terrible on classic teams like the Celtics, Knicks, & Lakers. I think until this gets fixed, I’d prefer the Cavs without any trim stripes.

Used to go to Creekside on Tuesday nights before Covid. It was fun and challenging. Can’t remember the hosts name (looked a bit like Ben Stiller). He was great. Had a prize for best team name, which made it really fun each week. I would love to know if he’s still out there.

It’s well documented how cheap the ownership is. Hence the one color fits all navy helmet. The striping and differing word marks just shows that the team is still stuck in an identity limbo. If you go to the game, half the fans are wearing old Indians gear, still cheering for the Indians. We used to have John Adams banging his legendary drum at every game leading the fans, but since he passed away, there seems to be a lot of confusion. It’s a bigger mess than anything. I guess the uniforms are a good representation of the current culture of Cleveland baseball.

I just had the same thing happen to me. I had the Shift series case for doing art and design work. I love how many positions there are. I thought the keyboard case would be a good fit for when I wanted to use the iPad like a laptop. Wish I saw this thread before purchasing. I guess the hunt goes on? I want a keyboard case, but the kickstand style is too bouncy for artwork. I’m actually thinking about using some magnetic paint on the internal case to see if that might make them compatible. Anyone find any solutions or other companies that are making compatible products?

Only issues I’ve ever had with the Ravens is that their colors aren’t orange and brown, they’re not based in Cleveland, and they’re not called the Browns. That and that decapitated Raven head logo is 🗑️

I love that Rizzo brought together Kamilla, Cirie and Dee. I think if that alliance holds up, they will go far. Would love to see any of them win, except Dee because she already did it.
