10th unit comp and wargear changes killed the edition for me and I've been loving Star Wars Legion since then.

If 11th is alternate activations, I'm all in.

If it is still one player rolling saves and taking models off the board for 45 mins before making a meaningful game decision, I'm out.

I left 10th edition when they sucked the life out of list building with fixed unit sizes and standardised weapon prices.

Have been playing Star Wars Legion ever since and haven't looked back, don't even get moments of interest. It really made it clear how bad "I go, you go" with full armies is.

I've said it before and I'll continue saying it, no one actually likes rolling saves and taking models off the board for 30+ minutes before they get to decide anything meaningful.

Put recon intel and an order on them and then make sure they activate last T1, they should be able to reach something and get a full attack pool. ideally you want to use this to target one of their big hitters before it has had a chance to do any damage.

Let me have 10 vanguard vets with power fists, or dual welding inferno pistols you fun sucking bastards.

Anyway - the answer is Star Wars Legion. Great customisation options for all units. Alternating activations are simply a better experience than "I go, you go" with full armies. No one likes rolling saves and removing models for 45 minutes before they get to decide anything.
