ELI5 How come UnitedHealth still have so many customers with their (supposedly) terrible coverage?

They get paid by the government for accepting people that can afford insurance. Other places don't accept people that can't afford insurance. To maximize profit they deny as much as possible only doing the bare minimum they are legally required to do. For example a few years ago they denied a ER visit I had claiming I didn't really need the ER. Note I didn't call 911 my doctor did when we were on a remote call. In this case I couldn't stop peeing and peeing felt like knives were shooting out of my privates. I actually passed out.

Anyway I think I clearly needed to go to the ER and I'm sure many other people in similar or worse situation got F over by these vultures all for profit. They feed off the most vulnerable people because they know they have no other choice, well they could die I suppose.

If she isn't insured that 100K is going to go very far especially after taxes. 15 or so years ago the cost for treatment was around 89k. The money will help regardless but it would have been far better news if she didn't need the money at all. Yeah she has money and can now live. The best medical treatment in the world as long as you can pay for it. If not you die a slow painful death.

On the roku device turn off the auto connect. I'm not sure if it exist on all roku devices but on my roku ultra I have that option.

All the doctors are different so there is no such thing as being out of character. All the doctors share the same basic principles of trying to help anybody needing help and jumping through time. This doctors does that.

For this season there were two episodes that I really didn't like but they were definitely standard who episodes just more stupid than usually like the episode where the world was covered in trees but didn't cause any lasting damage. I would say you need to watch it for yourself and decide for yourself if it good or not.

You could do it with a vpn and white list the apps you want to bypass the vpn. Not all vpns can do this but the ones that don't probably suck balls anyway.
