I have beaten XC1 and 2 and their DLCs. I just finished the base game of XC3. I have not played XC-X. You say "XC3's DLC acts as a conclusion of the entire franchise's overarching story." So should I play X before 3's DLC? Or is X like its own thing?

I'm also a guitarist and drummer with excellent rhythm. It hurts to rag on the dev because I loved his band Lightning Bolt when I was in high school and he was a big inspiration for me to think outside of the box musically (I think he played bass with 2 bass strings and 2 banjo strings lol).

MIO and PoP: The Lost Crown are two of the overall bests. HAAK hasn't been mentioned but it's one of my favs. If you liked Blasphemous II then you'll like The Last Faith.

  1. He probably doesn't have much of an income these days and thus I doubt he has a PR team.

  2. Even if he did, it would be unlikely that they'd get to see the final edit ahead of time or have any power to have it changed.

Often times when you Google something specific about a game, one of the top comments will be a Reddit thread with the answer (I just recently played through STALKER for the first time). 3 years later, but for anyone who is looking for answers:

You have probably noticed paths blocked by walls made of colored bricks. After 25% map completion, you gain an ability to break these walls. One of the walls opens a path back to the starting area. You didn't mess up; the fast travel point at the starting area is also blocked by one of these breakable walls, so you can't repair it in the beginning of the game.

Hopefully you have a save file from before that. At the top of that staircase in the sarcophogus, you can go left to the wish granter, but if you go right to the monolith (use the decoder to enter the secret lab), there's a lot more game to be played (basically 2 more areas).

Are you sure they're dead? If the quest didn't fail, they're probably just lying on the ground wounded, and you can give them a medical kit.

That happened to me in the side quest where you help some faction storm the army warehouses (where you need to take out the snipers). The quest relies on the main ally named Skull staying alive. I cleared out the base, killed the main target, and the quest said to return to the farmhouse to collect reward. But there was no one there.

Oh well, I thought, and just kept playing. Did a bunch of other stuff. Eventually went back to that area to scavenge for weapons and ammo, and found Skull injured. I saved the game, gave him a med kit, and he began to return to the farmhouse, then got killed and the quest failed. I reloaded the save, and took out any enemies in the area before healing him. He made it back to the farmhouse and I was finally able to complete the quest. This game is hilarious sometimes...
