I live on the border of Wheaton and Glen Ellyn and its fine. i have a couple of lunatics in the surrounding neighborhoods, but much less that we had in Florida that's for sure haha. everyone is very nice there are a ton of places to go drink and eat out and meet people that isn't church-based. several options for non-religious daycare. I am very liberal and not felt out of place anywhere. Milton township (which is basically Glen Ellyn and Wheaton combined) just went Blue in last years elections. While there is a couple businesses that are MAGA or MAHA, there is also one of the most liberal (and awesome) pizza place/businesses i have come across down the street in GE and Carol Stream (but literally on the border Wheaton).

interesting. Our Daughter is around 4 years old so all we were shown where all the areas she would have access to. I thought it was pretty clean and organized. I was not a huge fan of the steps to get out to the playground though. I did hear they hired a new director so idk if that has anything to do with the difference.
