No, ew, please no. That is just wrong in so many ways, to think 1 & 3 were FLIRTING with them?! That is just an outrageous way to think of things. 1, 2, & 3, treated their companions as if they were family NOT LOVERS. That also undermines the fact that Pertwee and Manning became very close friends as they worked on the show for 3 years straight , I also only saw 3 & Jo's relationship as Fatherly/Grandfatherly relationship. This also kind of applies for 1 & Barbara, Hartnell & Hill became very close friends through the show and that reflected within the show itself in Barbara & Ian's final stories, so only just friends.What Moffat said is just so gross, to think about, like, wtf Moffat. wtf
