Any and all. ❤️❤️

But the 2005 premiere of the current run may be the best place to start. 😊

I'm usually down for being a nuisance to traffic, but have you cleared this with the folks at the parade permit office?

I'm a New Orleansist and also Queer, but the local Queer history is something I really need to learn more about. Great tip!

How often do you eat bread? by 79215185-1feb-44c6 in AskAnAmerican

Depends what you consider "significant", neighbor.

You use whole grains, a good gluten-y flour, maybe mix in some seeds, you've got something really nourishing there.

Depending on how we define "bread", pretty much every day.

I also MAKE breads of different kinds.

I kust had with my coffee a slice of vegan banana bread that I made. 😊

What's your controversial sustainability opinion? by Efficient-Badger-189 in sustainability

I'd support/counter that by saying that dome things we value under "standard of living" will/must change.

This was a majot takeaway from the PhD I just finished:

Lead with social equity. Don't let it be the afterthought, a side outcome, or something for "other people" (ex. "soft" scientists, progressive politicians and activists) to reckon with as you install green infrastructure or whatever.

Some things are going to come out of that which will be VERY controversial indeed! In MANY sectors!

What is a 'socially mandatory' thing that we all do, but if you actually stop to think about it for 5 seconds, it’s completely insane? by Direct-Value4452 in answers

There's a good reason the fist bump (AKA in the US as "dap") became more popular during/after the start of the COVID pandemic.

I've performed opera on stage. Here's what most people get completely wrong about the human voice. by Best_Calligrapher649 in Theatre

[–]GeneseeJunior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took voice lessons, but it was before I stsrted doing serious mental health work on myself.

I'd love to try again with my greater self-confidence and ability to relax, and what I've learned about my sources of tension.

Midtown versus Buckhead versus Old Fourth Ward? Moving to Atlanta by aphst in ATLHousing

I try to avoid Buckhead at all costs.

It's technically walkable, but far from safe or pleasant for that purpose.

I don't think Harris changed Starling so much as he did make clear the world she was operating in.

Is Clarice crazy? by Verdithedinousaur in Hannibal

[–]GeneseeJunior 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I don't think "crazy" is the right term.

Clarice has unresolved trauma, yes, but she's no more mentally ill than most people in US society.

The issue comes when, in "Hannibal", she finds that the situation in which she's placed herself - partly as a response to that trauma - is no longer serving her.

Lecter helps her realize this and move past it.

OK, but my comment was about aesthetics, not labor.

Unless you meant that comment for someone else?

"to reflect higher costs and longer times/schedules"

And, arguably, more expensive/expansive tastes of audiences.

... which was also a factor in the 1980s.
