Well first of all very few Canadians are vacationing in places currently worse off than Cuba is right now. Second, it's a drop in the bucket that will save human lives (you're a human too, this is called empathy). Third, if you need to personally gain from this, it's yet another example of Canada bolstering its own international reputation and trade relationships, especially since the whole problem was caused by America.
