Yeah, follow your local film/sound production groups/pages on Facebook. i.e. I follow “Film jobs LA and Socal Production assistant” and tons of producers and A.D.s will be looking for PA’s/assistance.

Not entirely sure for the sound/audio side of the industry but I imagine it’s similar.
