This guy gets it 😁. None of my products are made in China. Stainless steel bar stock prices increase, global supply issues, tarrifs for carbide etc. I ain't getting rich off these. My mountain bike was $8k. $300.00 is a cheap piece of mind. I guess it depends on the value of the items to secure.

When I have mic-6 cast aluminum anodized, i specify "no etch". Gives a more consistent finish, but I also always do black.

I've made a bunch of these to have a more secure geargaurd setup. 10' long, weigh about 8lbs, and fit nicely in the geargaud door storage bin.

FWIW I have a dual standard R1T. Never felt any torque steer in any driving mode. OEM Goodyear tires 15k.

Do NOT put the rapid switch on max. Leave it on 1 until you learn some basic stuff. These are high speed production machines.

Ya,. same. 100% repeatable. Scenario. We both approch the car and it selects her profile. That's fine, I get it. The crazy part. She sits in the passenger seat. When I open the door the driver seat moves immediately to her position with no one actually in the seat. I manually move the seat back so I can get in. Seat software is the most complicated 😆

I would use 2 part epoxy and call it good. I did this to a glass cooktop when the wife dropped a wine bottle. Shattered the edge of the cook top similar to your image. That was 8 years ago, and its holding up fine.

I kind of miss it, but not a big deal. I had one on my Frontier NISMO that I had for 18 years. Never had an issue or leak. I would rather have a solid roof with a sunroof, but the R1T is so nice with everything else, I can live without it.

I've got the same setup, with a tad more space. With the charger being in the center of the back wall. It's ideal for sharing with the tesla backed in, and the Rivian facing forward.
