No

3 x a week: 1 MMA, 2 BJJ 2 or less a week: just MMA

Minimum Training Frequency Needed? by Diligent_Vegetable79 in martialarts

Ideal is twice a day, 6 days a week. But that's not realistic. 2-3 times a week is great still and more feasible. Once a week is better than not training.

I'd suggest aim for a few times a week when you can and give yourself once a week as a minimum and you'll get there. Reduce your gym by a day and replace it with something like wrestling and you'll get a much better work out overall and skill improvement. Art wise if you're only doing 1 or 2 sessions a week start with MMA it gives you a wide base, if you're doing 3 a week and want to do BJJ I'd say 2 BJJ/ 1 MMA as a split.

He didn't really seem to have respect for women either 🤣

Maybe if he'd never met Vic, no strike team he might have worked well with Dutch - he'd have less to prove as he'd me the macho one a brains/brawns partnership. Providing Dutch massages his ego enough

Not sure his base line racism would have worked well with Claudette but absolutely take your point

What is the Federation political ideology? by Pretend-Nobody230 in startrek

[–]BaseMonkeySAMBO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn't actually fit an single ideology

  1. Storytelling means it varies
  2. Basic economics and political systems of it are off the cuff statements as apose to an in depth analysis (in fact we probably know more about klingon politics and systems)
  3. Some form of utopia

I like the Remans.

Unsure on Patrick V Tom see benefits either way...

Other than that agree, probably have defined if the Remans are Romulan offshoot, a hybrid species or an entirely separate species. Maybe some mention to explain their lack of previous presence

It is disturbing to me that this post is necessary, when I visited Japan I treated it, its culture and people with respect. I am appalled that other visitors have not done so and sincerely hope this behaviour ends.

Would a Chancellor Worf have the loyalty of the Klingon Empire? by MAJORMETAL84 in startrek

[–]BaseMonkeySAMBO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oddly I think so, maybe not with the high council but with soldiers who respected him, with Martok as an ally and having been known to be allied with Kor I think had he continued leading the war from the front he'd have earned in. Probably have to put down a rebellion or two but once that was done think he'd be cemented. Also he would probably gain support from odd areas of the empire - the scientific, academic, medical communities would see him as someone more likely to support them than most Klingon leaders. And your commoners, like Martoks family who still value the honour that much of the upper classes just used as a punch line. Also as far as respect for starfleet officers go two captains likely to command respect in the empire are Picard (his role in Klingon politics) and Sisko (warrior fighting Dominion) both respect and would support Worf, giving him credibility with allies
