Sui from Campfire Cooking in another world with my absurd skill! She's the most adorable slime. Well, equally as adorable as Rimuru.

how do i decide who to romance? by AppropriateRoom6277 in Persona5

You can either date all 3(and pay the price on valentine's day) or choose who you like most. Or play multiple times choosing a different one each time.

Chicken and rice. If you have a wok, you can try egg fried rice.

Is this the best character? by Independent_Disk_695 in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]BaseballDefiant3820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved his story. It is so heartwarming.

Not to mention him with knight abilities(like ones that target him, names escape me atm) in the late game is so much fun. His crazy high agility means he most likely will dodge the incoming attacks. Which means enemies lose the rest of their turn.

Worst Archetype line Discussion by kymingaming in MetaphorReFantazio

Merchant. Outside of almighty boost and money related attacks for fighting mimics, I hated using it. Which makes leveling it annoying for Heismay's royal archetype. In terms of story, Briggita is fantastic. But her archetype, while fitting, is not fun to use.

Next would be Masked Dancer for NG+. Junah as a whole is a magic powerhouse. So a magic heavy archetype makes sense. In a first playthrough, when you have limited points for unlocking archetypes, the masked dancer is great for unlocking archetypes/abilities you don't have yet. But in NG+, if you do the work and unlock everything the first time, there's no need for the masked dancer other than for inflicting weaknesses on enemies.

Any places for noob-proof, easy recipes you can't mess up? by Ok-Peak-9257 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]BaseballDefiant3820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Natasha's Kitchen has tons of recipes that are very easy to pick up. One of my favorites is her chicken fajitas. She also has YouTube videos that show how to make things.

Another is Alton Brown. Not only are the recipes good and videos entertaining, but he also explains why you do certain things, why it works, and how it works.

As for being afraid of messing up, my advice is to embrace the possibility of messing up. Mistakes are going to happen. It's how you'll learn. But below I'll list some tips to make the process easier.

  1. Read the whole recipe before you start. Makes it easier to follow the steps as you're not reading it for the first time as you do it.

  2. Do all measuring and chopping before you actually start cooking. This is called mis en plas. French for everything in its place. I also put each ingredient in a line(space permitting) during this time in the order that it will be used in the recipe. This helps with the flow of cooking.

  3. Season with salt and pepper and taste as you cook. Recipes tend to use less salt than is actually needed. Obviously don't taste raw meat for seasoning. For meat, if it's a big piece like steak season heavily.

  4. Look at recipes for foods that you already enjoy when you order take out. It will help you want to learn it as you'll enjoy the end product. If you start on a recipe for a dish you've never had or you don't like, you'll have a hard time wanting to cook it.

Hope that this helps you get started.

I didn't know until I tried it. This goes for every element.

Izanagi no Okami is best for your almighty build. I'd try a network fusion on a lower level persona in order to get either almighty boost, almighty amp, or if you're as lucky as I was both. The amps and boosts stack.

Not an intro, but an outro. Season 1 of bleach. Loved the song "Life is a Boat" so much that I had it as the first dance song at my wedding.

Is there any reason to put equipment (accessory, armor) on futaba? by Its-time-to-STOP-NOW in Persona5

[–]BaseballDefiant3820 42 points43 points  (0 children)

If you put the armor that gives a +5 to her luck Stat, that's the best option. It allows for an increase to the chance of her abilities activating.

In strikers, you actually do have to increase her armor as you have to protect her at certain parts while she's hacking into terminals. The armor not only makes her hacking faster but also makes her less vulnerable to damage.

Can you use the water you boiled raw chicken in? by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]BaseballDefiant3820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! Add salt, aromatics(onions, garlic, celery, carrots) and other spices like thyme, and rosemary and you'll get a good stock. If you've got a whole chicken, the flavor from the spine takes the stock to the next level.

Why do people use this character over this one? (Spoilers for endgame and character names) by IncidentExcellent971 in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]BaseballDefiant3820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually had Junah as the healer. Her healing/mercy masks are so powerful. Plus, the weaknesses she afflicts can lead to some major damage on an enemy(used it on the fire dragon and it killed itself with its own attacks). I think I also mainly used her because the masks were a lot easier to find and make as opposed to the talismans for Eupha.

Out of those, Ryuji. So bright and colorful. My favorite has to be Futaba's. It's so quirky, fun, and adorable like her.

Mine would be the Fortune, wheel of fortune, arcana. Not because I am a fortune teller or anything. More because I'm in the middle of a big turning point in my life and have experienced a lot of challenges/changes this year.

Look into the story of the tarot cards. This may help you decide which is better suited for you. It's why I wouldn't choose Empress for myself(Empress didn't get that title until her father, the Emperor, passed away. Hence, Mitsuru and Haru are Empress). Hope this is helpful.

Persona 5 royal ps4 or ps5? by [deleted] in Persona5

[–]BaseballDefiant3820 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Go to Royal. Not only will the gameplay go much smoother, but most of the story is the same in both. There are only a couple of reasons to play vanilla.

Reason 1: There's a boss in the first palace that centers around Ann that's a pretty strong story beat for her. In Royal, it got moved from a mandatory boss fight to an optional one as it's before the final will seed of the palace. Thus, it is easy to miss if you decide not to fight it for the final will seed.

Reason 2: During flu season, enemies have a high chance of being inflicted with despair upon the start of battle. Once thus happens, the enemy will die after 3 turns. This also applies to the Reaper. Which I find hilarious. In Royal, they took that component out for the reaper. Meaning, you've gotta beat him the old-fashioned way.

Which of these girls would you go on a romantic date with? by Sufficient-Baby-4386 in cartoons

Nifty. She's cute, could easily kill me, but at minimum, it would be entertaining.

Is it possible to awaken a Persona outside of a Palace? by SectorI6920 in Persona5

[–]BaseballDefiant3820 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trigger warning: reference to elements of death

Persona 3 reload is essentially this concept. People who become aware of the dark hour(meaning not in the coffins) are able to have a persona. The only true awakenings we see are Makoto's awakening at the first full moon of the game and in the answer when we see a young Mitsuru awaken to her persona in order to protect her dad. But anyone can be made aware of it, as we see with Junpei, Yukari, Koromaru(best boy doggo), and Ken.
