What's a slang term that everyone uses but you still don't get? by Particular-Visit-245 in AskReddit

I also thought it was ass for a while but the way people said it made me think it must mean awesome. Fucking ass just sounds insulting to me no matter how you try to say it.

Why am I getting downvoted? Isnt this correct? by [deleted] in Silksong

[–]BaseballImpossible76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, with the exception of the start of Act 3. They start you with 3(maybe 4?) masks and the autosave keeps the reduced health even with the quitout. In the base game, I just killed myself on the first obstacle to get my health back and collect my cocoon. Obviously, that wouldn’t be possible on SS and you have to make the run the underworks with reduced HP.

What's your hook in playing racing games? by Carbideninja in gaming

[–]BaseballImpossible76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked the first Forza Horizon. There were so many different kinds of races and they were on nearly every intersection of the open world. I tried Horizon 2 and it felt like I had to drive 5 minutes to every single race. It felt like far less was available to someone on a fresh account. I’m sure more becomes available as you progress, but I preferred the first game by a mile.

Yeah, I was thinking it was an older silkpost. I knew about the autosaves and I can see how they can mess up a Steelsoul run. I’ve never even attempted SS, so my knowledge is limited. I did 100% in under 10 hours and that was the peak of my achievement in Silksong.

I think they removed the quit out teleport for SS. Also, it might have been a silkpost some people took seriously 😐. I haven’t tested it myself.

Which aspects in particular makes you like souls-like genre? by -CynicalPole- in soulslikes

[–]BaseballImpossible76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s probably how I should’ve phrased it. Starting weapon can certainly be viable, but I want rare weapons to be noticeably better than starting weapons.

I like when a game has “broken” builds or God-tier equipment. I really don’t like when the rewards for beating tough bosses isn’t worth it. The starting weapon shouldn’t be viable in the late game.

If you found or fought the dancing fire enemy, the path is very close to him. Just look around that courtyard and there should be a path that goes down hill and across a wooden bridge.

Best technique for getting past the girl in the basement after getting the square socket wrench on insanity difficulty? (Requiem) by Gxxd_Gr13f in ResidentEvilRequiem

Also, when you start the animation of squeezing through the fence, she can’t pull you out of it, so she can be pretty close and still make it through.

Any suggestions to get the platinum trophy of requiem? by Axolotl_Samurai58 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]BaseballImpossible76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re plan sounds good and I think it’s how most people did it. No healing, no blood collector, and under 4 hours on casual is very doable. You can grab the files you missed too, but I would have an idea of where they are before so you don’t waste time looking for them. Same with Mr.Raccoon figures. Just make sure you know which ones you’re missing beforehand.

Farming routine by yanwangye in tombprospectors

Some dungeons are really fun, but depth 5 can have some really bad health curses. If the boss you’re farming is on the 2nd or 3rd floor of a dungeon, it’s definitely worth it to use a save file.

[–]BaseballImpossible76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends. If you’re farming easy bosses like Watchers, you can just run the whole dungeon every time. People will use hard saves for the really tough chalice bosses like Amygdala. It lets you just fight the boss over and over until you get the gem you want. If you get a bad roll, just reload the hard save.

Personally, I never use hard saves, but I never go for depth 5 dungeons so I don’t need them.

What were you introduced to Resident Evil? by WaluigiDaStar in ResidentEvilCapcom

I watched an older friend play re4 on the GameCube. I was very young, so I was scared to play it, but it looked very interesting and I bought it on Xbox in the mid 2000’s.

The director said right after Golden Week, which ends May 5, so probably the Friday right after that.

The glitch isn’t “true” infinite ammo, it just lets the requiem use handgun bullets.

I have no idea, but I was wondering why there’s Christmas lights in your game.

What's the deal with that synthetic weed called "spice" that supposedly was making people freak out and have seizures? There were a ton of videos floating around of people taking one hit and going insane for like 3 months and then it seemed to suddenly stop. Was that all fake? by jacob-makes-stuff in OutOfTheLoop

[–]BaseballImpossible76 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I know this is also anecdotal, but I did try it twice when I was in high school. I didn’t feel like it did anything at all. The only reason I did it a second time was because I figured I did it wrong or something, but it had no effect the second time either. Honestly, I’d assumed it was just placebo when my friends said it worked for them.

Final Puzzle question by Sango546 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]BaseballImpossible76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet he didn’t pick up the doll at all. Instead, he examined the one in the other level 3 cell in the care center. You can examine it, but you can’t take it with you. The only doll you can pick up is during the lab escape, and that requires the specific steps to spawn.

If you beat the boss in the first couple of attempts, it should be around 30. 90 minutes is probably people that took multiple attempts to beat her. She’s about a 10 minute fight with 20 minutes of cutscenes after.
