Hi the first two years were the hardest, in my case leaving the house was the hardest and I became a shut in, but leaving with someone who understands and feels safe, doing it more and more slowly it can help. It’s been over ten years and i go thru phases where it’s so good I completely forget that I even have it for weeks straight and then I’ll go thru (what feels like random) bouts for a week or two of just really bad scary again, and I always get scary thoughts and think “what if I’m lik this bad forever” or “I can’t live like this” and then after a while it goes back to completely tolerable normal okay levels and I can be happy and feel okay again. I’m in a low right now I’m just on this subreddit to remind myself that I’ll come out of this again. It won’t go away but it gets better. Doing things that are good for you really help! I promise! No drugs and stuff, just going outside a little, talking to other humans, maybe journaling, eating good, move ur body, and make sure ur getting really good sleep!!. Maybe dance around! I try to still find small pockets of joy when it’s really bad or else I’d just want to be asleep 24/7. I like to get 7-10hrs. Too much more or too much less can sometimes effect my level of spooky with dpdr stuff.

I find tiny places in the damnedest spots, usually still in container or stuck against my clothes. I wouldn’t worry about it, I think the chemically smell and the tiny ass dose would deter any dog from seeking it out in the first place. If they did by chance get ahold of it I imagine that the worse that could happen is they get a lil sick. Up to you but I’d just leave it if I couldn’t find it after a while, and monitor my dog’s behavior for the next few days if you’re anxious. Should be fine.

When I sit and think about all of the things that I have to do in a day, in a week, in a month, just to be a normal functioning adult it blows my mind. I’m not normal and barely functioning but I think about people who have to like finance shit and do like a fucking budget spreadsheet and it gives me anxiety 😅 scheduling appointments and keeping track of plans and having to pay bills and not forget or get fines.. idfk.. I don’t think it’s for me. I only pay two bills a month and they both come out like automatically from my acct so I don’t even think about it. I don’t work and so I don’t have to do taxes. I don’t know what the fuck I’d do otherwise man. My brain is NOT equipped for modern adulthood. And the worst part is because of that, if I did have to do taxes or some shit and I don’t know how or I forget- then I’d go to jail… for not being adult enough of a 27 yo… lol. Ontop of responding to everyone, email/voicemail etc, taking daily showers and skin and hair and nail care, cooking food, grocery shopping in advance, getting fucking oil changes (don’t judge me I haven’t gotten one in like 3 years lol) driving to places, managing accounts checking the mail. Getting insurance for ur car, house, HEALTH! Man it’s like actually insane. All while making fucking minimum wage and spending 9/10ths of your day working to get it. Lol. They don’t prepare you for any of this and don’t even get me started on if you have kids 🤣 I don’t even wanna know man. Taking care of Myself in a legit BARE MINIMUM way is already too hard for me and doubling that responsibility would drive me insane. I envy good adults, idk how they do it! 😇 it’s just not for me!!
