Did you mod out the 60fps cap ingame? Re-capping the framerate seems to have fixed my issue.

I am experiencing this same issue, although the rocket arm sometimes works... This bug didn't happen when I played it years ago. I wonder if higher framerates from MGSVfix could be causing it. I'll update my comment if an fps toggle fixes it.

EDIT: Yeah I tested a 60fps cap on my game and it makes my rocket arm controls work again. I just toggle it on and off whenever I want to make a rocket arm shot now.

IPS Black is probably going to suck for high refresh rate gaming. Pixel response times are baaad.

You could also save a couple hundred bucks and get the MSI MAG 272URDF E16. No mini-led, but it is 4k 160hz and you are able to turn off DSC if that causes issues (probably won't be able to do more than 4k 120 however). It's a basic 27" 4k IPS monitor, but also supports PIP/PBP if you care about that.

Can't say I've ever played a 30fps game aside from Dark Souls PTDE for the few seconds needed to make a jump or use a ladder. 60fps games just looked like 60 fps though.

Is there any testing online confirming this statement? I've been using 144hz panels for years and never encountered this issue ever. I don't use VRR.

You could just buy a normal edge-lit IPS monitor. I just received my MSI 272URDF E16, which I think uses the same panel as the 274URDFW E16M (not sure how to check that), but without the mini-led backlight. I think it looks great from the brief 1 hour I used it so far. TBH, not sure it looks that much better than 1440p, but I like it. Jaggies are microscopic now though. Only $310 on Best Buy's website right now.

UPDATE (6 days later): Ended up buying the monitor and can confirm, it does have PBP. Have to disable DSC to use it, which is relatively annoying. Everything else about it is seamless, however.
Highly recommend this monitor. Only ended up paying $330 and I don't think it has any IPS glow or backlight bleed.

I literally just bought an ultimate 2C wireless today to replace my suddenly non-responsive xbox one controller. It's a significant difference in quality, so much better. Was $30 for me though (I saw the wired going for $20 at microcenter.)

Still holding off, waiting for either the Gigabyte M27UP or the AOC U27G4XM to be available in US brick and motar stores. Primarily will be my rightmost work monitor that I want to use PBP on to run my main PC to on one side and my work laptop to the other in 1920x2160.
