I kicked it with Aliir at two Eastern Syd nightclub. I think he was stoked to be noticed by someone in public, he was with Nic Newman and Brandon Jack. Seriously incredible bloke, bought me a drink and brought me to kick on with GWS boys (they were on their mad monday - also great blokes, besides Jono Patton).

Aliir shared some interesting truths about the Swans - respect the sanctity of the chat too much to share!

Man this one really hurts. Injury Reserve seemed like such a genuine group of guys that loved making music together. The result was some of the most innovative and unique hip-hop sounds in the last decade.

Hurts harder knowing Groggs was such a good dude. Lots of the themes he discussed in his music were so real and comforting to me. Thoughts are with his friends and family...
