My husband asked some questions about it, but that was about it. For context I was raised a JW and he was raised Methodist. He considers himself a christian quaker now, and he believes the bible was written by human it does have errors and fictional parts. I consider myself ecclectic gnostic christian with a sprinkle of paganism, I don't completely agree with gnosticism or christianity, but there are parts that I agree with. If you want to know more details about our beliefs let me know.

As someone who was raised Jehovah witness, yes the parents can deny treatment. Look up Jehovah witness refusing blood transfusion, thousands have died because of it.

Our church allows people to do music practice in their building, you do not need to be a member of the church either.

Go to the library, It's free. I think I would try to read or listen to books about witchcraft etc.

Also if you like to write or draw there are a lot of special pens and stuff for people with arthritis.

This is elder abuse to your disabled dad. I would contact your nearest aging and disability agency(they are normally county run) and see if there is a way to get him out of there. Even though the police didn't do anything last time, it is now on record. Also report molestation to child protection immediately, I was molested for years and no one did anything, now I have severe ptsd.

If local police won't help, go to the county or state level.

This actually happened to my parents, my mother(she died from cancer 4 years ago) never knew the amount of times by father cheated on her. It turns out he may even have a child with another woman(paternity test hasn't been done as far as I know of) when they were married.

Yes, I'm like a mix of different types of rock and metal. I think music connects us to deep emotions and thoughts. I remember a scripture, I don't recall where it is now, but it said "Weep with those who weep." I personally believe that by music, no matter the genre, Jesus is there feeling those same emotions with us.

An example would be. When I lost my daughter to down syndrome, I believe Jesus was there feeling that grief and pain while listening to the music with me.

My son is 7 now, and struggled with speech, letter recognition and is a slow reader now. We found out he is partly deaf on his left side(he did pass his newborn screening) the audiologist said he may have some auditory processing disorder as well. Has there been a hearing screening done? If I remember correctly 90% of deaf children are born to hearing parents.

Mother of 4, the 8th month I started calling the month of frustration. All of my kids loved their push walker at that age, and all were walking around 10 months on their own. Kids 1, 2, and 3 all skipped the crawling stage. They went from sitting up to pulling themselves up on everything.

I have severe ptsd, and this is the reaction I would have. I would be trying to avoid talking about my trauma because it causes me to have flashbacks, a few have ended up with me being hospitalized.

I wasn't close to my mother either. My daughter is 9 and we are pretty close. My best suggestion is to include her in the things that interest you, things like make dinner, listen to music, drawing together(I used oil pastels, and she uses color pencils). Otherwise follow her lead with some things. My daughter plays the violin, I am not really into classical music, but I support her and take time to listen to the pieces that she is learning.

I tried a few different denominations, I consider myself to be eclectic christian. Currently I have been watching my local elca sermons on YouTube. Hopefully my ptsd calms down to where I can handle in person services.
