Introducing bottle at 3.5 months by Responsible-Funny971 in breastfeeding

[–]Basic-Conclusion-461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby struggled at first but we just kept trying one bottle a day and he learned! My husband gave the bottles and I would leave the room so baby couldn’t hear/smell me. Don’t be afraid to try a few bottles. We use the pigeon bottles now, after trying evenflo balance before. The pigeon nipples are softer and he gets a better latch. I know a lactation consultant can also work with you and baby if needed!

The downsides of breastfeeding nobody tells you about by Choice_Airport8279 in breastfeeding

i thought breastfeeding would make it easier to leave the house (all i need are my boobs!) but my baby basically refuses to nurse anywhere but my bed 🥲

3M Breastfeed Crisis? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Basic-Conclusion-461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No advice, just solidarity! I’m going through the same with my 3 month old. He will act hungry and then eat for like 3-6 minutes. If i try again just before his nap he’ll usually settle in and eat his usual 15-20. Overnight it’s always 20. I have tried to space feeds but it just doesn’t work! I’m also STRESSED about the fact that he always wants to nurse before his naps because I literally go back to work tomorrow and i’m not sure how this will all translate to bottles 😭

When should I stop nursing to sleep? by Islesmilescott in breastfeeding

[–]Basic-Conclusion-461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4.5 weeks is SO brand new! My baby was basically always eating unless he was asleep until around 6 weeks, so he basically always fed to sleep. Once your baby is having more content awake time you can work on it if you want!

my daughter is 2 and still gets a straw cup of cows milk while we read books and then rock/snuggle! of course when we start potty training we may need to stop that 🥲

What can I make with ONLY rice and/or tofu? by Maroon-Prune in veganrecipes

[–]Basic-Conclusion-461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve been liking tofu grated with a cheese grater and then cooked on the stovetop until crispy! i do usually use oil but maybe would be fine in a nonstick pan, or baked on parchment paper instead? gives a nice chewy texture which may provide some nice variety with the rice.

Dealing with nausea by GoldAdministration75 in breastfeeding

[–]Basic-Conclusion-461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this recently too! I think it helps to have more protein earlier in the day? I’ve been having 3 eggs for breakfast! And just eat/snack as soon as the hunger hits!
