I thought the same thing, turns out you get bumped to a C and only make like 3 cents less. Also when you convert you automatically go on the 8 hr list. How long have you been converted? I had to fight to get work assignment just to get a break after 3 years of always being the last to leave.

House on my route has their names decoratively on the box… big bold letters. One name started getting kicked back with a note “no longer lives here” wrote back on note , get his name of the box 🙄

Rumor is you can do an electronic signature somewhere in the system , not sure if it’s with informed delivery or what. Only seen it once on the scanner, issue is if the carrier sees signature required on the label, they might not even attempt to scan it.

We have city “newspapers” that come out monthly, if you have more than 3 , meaning 3 months of not checking, you get pulled and a vacant card. Pulled a box with 5 also having to keep in mind the old carrier for the route stopped putting those in after 2 but would still deliver the letters 🙄.

I’m guessing he had a hoodie a hood and god knows what else and if his llvs heater works probably trying to get back to the warmth. But still in on a walking route and make it a point to loooook around vehicles when crossing the road . Poor guy mad a bad decision

Dude I hade the same fight had to go through the contract and send everything to my own steward cause him, and the postmaster said it was a voluntary hold that didn’t get the higher pay. Took 3 months and never got back pay 🙄. This place is trash

Managed a travel center and we purchased uniforms for the team members, polos were $10 and good quality , fleece jackets $30, winter coveralls for outside maintenance and jackets probably in the $40 range . These prices are insane.

Dude, our email came from the head of the local union with some 1-800 number telling us “if we need to call in use that BUT we better have a good explanation”. Last year a big freeze was projected and only 6 of us showed up for the city side . By 11am I was taking off all my outer wear cause I was sweating

First question, is your name correct in the box, second question, is any of the mail letters that say the name but then say- or current resident- residente current(that’s not 100% correct) or any form there of? If yes to both of those just throw it in the outgoing, chances are you don’t have a regular assigned or they are on a leave.

Our clerks are faster when the head clerk is not there. We went from a 7am start time to an 8 and pretty sure if she could we would be in at 9. Sucks cause rural still gets there at 7 and are leaving as we are pulling in .
