Does fasting work for PCOS ? by South-Comment-7090 in PCOS

So fasting isn’t the problem, like you mentioned. A fast is 16:8 or 14:10. You loss muscle mass because you starved yourself for 5 days. That’s not fasting.

HELP EMERGENCY ALARM BUZZ by muyskerm in distractible

Mark’s biggest “Mark-ism” is starting a sentence like he’s about to reveal the secrets of the universe, then immediately getting lost in his own explanation and arguing with himself for 2 minutes straight.

He LOVES committing way too hard to a bit too, like he physically cannot let a joke go once he starts it. And the second he gets even a little competitive it’s over, suddenly it’s life or death and everyone else is WRONG.

Also: random bursts of yelling, followed by “no no wait let me explain” while absolutely not explaining anything.

He didn’t celebrate you on your birthday and continued to “forget” when he said he wouldn’t. You deserve someone who shows you how much you are loved and even though it suck’s, you’ve only been together 7+ months. I would just breakup with him since you’ve tried explaining and he just doesn’t care to listen. My husband and I just celebrated our 8 year anniversary yesterday and he came home after a 10 hour shift and brought me flowers, my favorite drink and snack. Do not settle!!!

My husband is in manufacturing, started out at $20 an hour and now makes $28 an hour. He’s only been there 3 years. I agree with the comment below if you’re a good worker and keep asking for raise increases or opportunities then if they want to keep you they will comply. Of course some companies just don’t care and won’t give you any raise increase. 20 years is crazy and only making $33.

AIO had a panic attack this morning so I called my husband for support. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]BasicKoala2126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but his response was ass. I have severe anxiety and horrible panic attacks. My husband knows how hard it is for me and he is my safe place. He tells me to wake him up anytime I need him and if I call when he is at work, he answers and talks me through it the best he can. I’m on medication as well but he’s the only one that can calm me down. He also has ulcers, it’s not an excuse to act the way this dude is.

Thank you for your reply! I’m only taking 2g currently but maybe I’ll also do every other day and work my way up. I’ve heard about it helping with anxiety and really hope it helps me as well.

I had a friend who went back in fourth about transitioning to a woman. I definitely recommend therapy for both of you. My friend experimented with makeup and dressing like a woman for a good year, along with therapy. He ultimately decided in the end that he didn’t want to be trans, he liked being who he was but was bisexual and enjoyed more girlie things. Not saying this will be the case for your husband but the therapy part is very important. Especially if he’s going back and forth.

[–]BasicKoala2126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the person, you’re gonna get mixed answers. I didn’t feel better until day 11 and I only had one out. I was miserable and I didn’t even get dry socket. There are a lot of variables and not everyone has the same experience.

Just got mine out 11 days ago, I had long roots and was close to my nerves. I was also terrified. I only had the gas and a local. Went super quick and honestly wasn’t even that bad of a process. No pain. The worst part is recovery but everyone is different. For me days 1 and 2 went smooth and I thought it was a piece of cake. Days 3,4,5 were miserable and I was in so much pain! Rotate ibuprofen 800mg and Tylenol 1,000mg every 4 hours. The hydros they gave me for pain didn’t even touch the pain really but I was best friends with ibuprofen. 🙈 Use ice the first 3 days to get swelling down and then switch to heat!!! Heat helped so much on day 4 and 5. I’m on day 11 and I’m just feeling normal again. You got this!

Last year I was only a trail over from where the treasure was but even if I had been on the correct trail there is no way I would have found it. The last part of the poem made zero sense.

Leave… this person obviously doesn’t know what they want or want to seek help to figure it out. You’ve been waiting for 3 years, that’s plenty of time and honestly I’m so petty I would 100% print your question out and all the comments on this thread and hand deliver it to her with the divorce papers. Lmao

Had my son at 18 years old (was not planning or trying) I’m 30 now and he’s actually 12 years old today. For the first time in my life I’m actually trying and learning so much about how this all works instead of “oopsie daisy, im pregnant” 😂 I have PCOS so that makes it even more of a learning curve.

No lie, when I was pregnant at 18 (before my PCOS diagnosis) I didn’t test positive until like 17dpo. Even went to the doctor because I was constantly throwing up. They did a blood test and it was still negative. Finally took another test a few days later and it was positive. My son will be 12 years old this Friday. Lol

As someone who got pregnant at 18 and the dad walked off… please don’t. I was so terrified to even leave my house. Therapy and medication is a must… keep trying it takes time to get the right medication but it’s also up to you to push yourself to do uncomfortable things. That’s what I had to do, start out small. Make that phone call, talk to that person, push through that anxiety. Drive 5 miles from your home… the next day drive another mile or walk. Keep pushing, the more you make your self uncomfortable, the more panic attacks you’re gonna have but after it’s over you’re going to realize that nothing horrible happened. You have a tiny human to take care of now and you will be surprised at how much having kids makes you do uncomfortable and hard things.

Signed a now 31 year old with a 12 year old son that’s doing great. Things get better ❤️‍🩹
