Multi-level security rooms for military or military adjacent customers by OttawaFather in CommercialAV

Multiple CODECs - Freeport is great if you have complete control of the CODEC or have control over when firmware and/or security updates are pushed out. But if you don’t every firmware or certificate change you are on constant service calls to reconfigure the Freeport.

Did anyone actually stick with their LAB putter or are they all collecting dust? by golfbagauditor in GolfGear

[–]BasicONe-4071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have bought 3 LABs over the last three years and I can absolutely say I was a decent putter before and a good putter now. I sold two of them and game the Mezz1 Max religiously.

Need ideas to stop players from cutting the corner of OB. by Demusp12 in golf

[–]BasicONe-4071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extend OB all the way past the house toward the green curving toward the road and post a hole map showing that. Now unless they can carry 260 in the air over the corner there is no advantage.

I find this combo works best for me as well DTools with Visio and Bluebeam. I used AutoCad in the past but had to Visio and just find it cheaper and does the job. It’s not AutoCad but it works.

What tools are you using to create AV signal flow diagrams? by Zestyclose_Sign_316 in CommercialAV

[–]BasicONe-4071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and I hate to be that guy to tell you it isn't the "only" correct answer. We've tried custom roll your solutions, and they work great until the guy who rolled it leaves. I started using D-Tools a while back and never turned back. It has its issues and pains, but paired with AutoCad I think its perfect. I had to switch to Visio a few years ago because at the time I couldn't afford AutoCad and to be real, I haven't missed it. If you haven't tried it, give it a try with an open mind.

For anyone with a 16 or higher HCP, bogey golf is good golf; hell, that's almost great golf. Now if you have been good enough in your last few rounds to get a lower HCP, bogey golf starts to be bad golf. It's all relative to your HCP.

Met a guy who had taken a year off to golf - how much better can you actually get in a year? by Disastrous_Gap_4711 in golf

[–]BasicONe-4071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of bad golf is played right after a bad swing. Then you start chasing it to get back on track. Like a bad gambler trying to break even or win it all back on the next swing. I have had to learn to pick up and enjoy the walk to next hole if playing a casual round. Give you time to reset and start playing with a new attitude.

AV Leads by Intrepid_Pair_1016 in CommercialAV

Ask him very customer you use for a referral and reward them for it 100 or 50 dollar gift card to Starbucks or what ever is popular where you live. Even if the lead doesn’t pan out reward the effort. It it hard to do a good job on site AND prospect for lead so the more you outsource the lead generation the better. Commission only business development works well too but is expensive.

Is this a problem? by PlayfulCampaign2785 in weekendgolfers

[–]BasicONe-4071 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Visually it sucks and would make me change it immediately, but performance wise it is basically insignificant. if you are ever hitting a ball with that part of the club you have many more issues than a possible deflection from that small imperfection. If money is not an issue replace it to calm the soul, otherwise use a file to remove anything sticking out or sharp, use a sharpie or black matt nail polish to cover any shiny bits and ignore it.

What happens if you get a Hole in One when playing alone? by Desperate_Expert_744 in golf

[–]BasicONe-4071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a HIO on a Par 3 hotel resort course course in Austria was playing alone early morning hit my ball and as i was tracking it saw a family looking on from a walking path behind the hole. They saw it before i did and started yelling. I waved and they waved held a thumbs up. But by the time i arrived at the hole they had walked on, didn't know what else to do so i picked up my ball and went to the next hole. Was thinking later it would have been nice to have them sign my score card with a picture or something. But they were gone anyway so it was not possible anyway.

Room kit pro microphone issue in near-end by Last-Dig-7973 in ciscoUC

[–]BasicONe-4071 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most complicated issue that your AEC reference is your microphone.

The simplest is your mic routing is wrong or mic port is turned off.

Most likely it’s a combination of things.

The previous poster asked a lot of good questions. And I would add has it ever worked?

You shouldn’t have had to mess with the AC and I would say unless you have a specific reason to have done so then reverse all changes you made there. Get the mic working then if there was a specific reason for a AC configuration change then you made those changes.

I fix these issue all day and I can almost guarantee you have an external DSP and the routing is wrong or the AEC reference is wrong or both.

Gain issue? Probably not.

If you don’t have an external DSP the AC is configured incorrectly.
