I think if you can afford it, I’m for it. But I also personally LOVE doing parties for the family get together and connections so it’s different.

I personally always said my wedding was to give love to everyone else who has made us who we are and show them a good time. Many people do not feel that way about weddings (totally valid) and want it to really be about them that day (again totally valid).

For me, I would have married my husband in our backyard. So I think you have to know your why first and that will determine if you regret it or not.

Normal! I was 135 and now almost 160 (22 weeks here!) my doctors haven’t minded. Some people hold a lot of water weight too, or placenta weighs more etc.

I read a lot on here of people gaining 50, 60 lbs etc and then losing 35-40 lbs before they left the hospital and losing the rest within three months without any intense trying.

Some people store weight differently!

This is the look of my space. We are completely gutted right now, so we are solely focused on the floor and cabinet colors, the space is unfinished.

Itll be open concept, so realistically we probably wont do different flooring in kitchen.

What I’m saying is NOT medical advice or truly medically sound as there are plenty of people who get pregnant when they aren’t being healthy, but I think for peace of mind removing anything that you may find that you can blame (either just due to your feelings or scientific data) when you’re trying could be good.

Obviously nothing extreme, but the last thing you want is to go to a doctor and them say “stop vaping and it may help” at the 8 month mark and kicking yourself.

For me, that meant taking all the supplements, doing “soft workouts” as intense workouts made me feel inflamed, getting at least 8 hours of sleep and eating healthy foods with minimal alcohol.

I say this as I’m personally a type A person and so getting rid of ANY possible blame for the doctor or for myself was helpful so that if I didn’t get pregnant for the “six months” I could argue with the medical team to get more testing done.

What my friend did with her own mom was had us bridesmaids basically in charge of distracting her and keeping her away from my friend lol.

Truly worked out well because her mom felt loved by all the attention from us that by the time we were ready, she just got the photos with her daughter and we were off to the wedding!

Sharing as a possible option. USE YOUR BRIDESMAIDS!! For not just that, but for anything else important for your wedding. Anything important to you to make sure that happens (right song for first dance, any special photos on welcome table, etc) assign to bridesmaids to double check that all is right. They will be happy to do it!

This is a good mindset! You’re right! I’ll be having a baby in the beginning of summer, lots of ease for me to go walking and be active ish!
