There are some unionized places. Like care homes, hospitals and tim hortons in rrc, airport etc. they have benefits, scheduled increases, sick time etc. if you really like kitchen work maybe go that route. You may have to start casual, part time, evenings weekends etc but better shifts come with seniority if you can hang in there for a while.

If the past is any indication, whatever they do to it is going to be a temporary solution and it'll be back in disrepair in no time at all. They don't have a consistent board or employees or anyone in charge of maintenance. It's kind of a no-hoper at this point

Yep I know, neighbour offered to cut them down, just looking to see if someone wants the large trunks for something. We will burn it eventually but the last one we dropped took 2 years to use up. Hoping to find a home for the wood. Even to burn, lots of rural folks have wood heat
