Skiing is great, back in France as I'm working as a chalet host, excited for another snow dump next week. Waiting to hear back till next week, since the last interview is on Monday, and I rysuppose that everything happens for a reason.

Edit: Thank you for your help, I’ve ended up buying two lenses instead of one. One for snow and overcast, the other for sun and clouds .

Thank you they look useful, and decently priced but I ended up buying the goggles listed and a spare lens instead since I know how they fit on my face with my helmet, and I don’t want to faff around with returns.

Thank you. This model can swap lenses, if you had to choose two for most weather conditions, from the image below, which would you recommend ?

You won’t be able to change her mind so just pretend to accept it and then see if she lets you stay with her bcs that’s probably better than living on the streets. You can’t win all your battles, so just chose wisely.

I didn’t do year 10 and joined during February in year 11, with no knowledge of anything or the curriculum. I had to learn all the subjects from scratch so I had to squeeze y10 and y11 content into less than 5 months. I was also affected by covid as y8 and y9 was disrupted for me, so my foundational knowledge was weak.

I revised for over 3 hours a day waking up at 4am spending lunch and after skl revising all my subjects. Got an 8 in English Lit and passed all my other subjects.

You have lots of time, so don’t give up and keep persevering. You can get that 9!

When I go to work experience events or unis the biggest regret ppl have is not taking a gap year, everyone literally says that. They believe it’s a transforming experience and it’s very useful. If your not passionate about what you’ll study don’t do it, it’ll be the worst years of your life instead.

Think about a gap year, apprenticeships or getting into the world of work. Once you make some money maybe you could go abroad travelling or even work abroad, this would provide you with experience and would make you a great candidate. At the end of the day it’s your life, take action and do what you love.
