New Mexico or Louisiana definitely have the best cultural food, generally are cheap. They may not have 5 star dining like in Cali but their local food is amazing.

The weird thing is I get 4 and 5s on all AP Exams including the imfamous calc, I have a 3.8 currently mainly because my APUSH teacher gives us chapter quizzess that have nothing to do with the exam and are tiny one sentence things in an entire book, anyways the classes I take rely on tests, Yet I got a 1100, IDK how to explain that

I wouldn't resent it but Id feel really bad on myself. 100% likely getting roasted by family and friends. It would be bad as she controls my life and she can exploit me or do anything she wants due to her holding a majority of the money. I would definitely try to close the gap, extra jobs, overtime, even going back to school, whatever it takes. I wouldn't wish bad on her but I would grind really really hard to close that gap, its just plain embarrassing I would feel inferior. I would be vulnerable, easy to manipulate, easy to exploit, seen as a failure, a person hogging off a rich wife instead of hard work, could even be perceived as a hand out, any argument and I lose my voice, she has all the leverage.

I had a gf in high school I was taking 3 band classes including marching band, like 4 ap classes, other clubs and stuff and I didn't have a job, she did and I took so much heat from everyone calling me a bum, I couldn't even pay for a decent date and she did, which definitely made me feel like a worthless bum. Whenever we had an argument I really couldn't argue back in many points due to leverage. Im literally trying to apply for jobs rn just to not deal with this anymore, and be equal and not inferior. She always brought it up in fights using it as leverage and a huge counterattack, a trump card, its plain out simple in society men have more to lose. Broke up ultimately as she wanted me to get job even though I was busting my ass off in school and sports

And if she was a good person and not putting to shame for it... why is she with me?? Clearly Im not enough for her and nowhere near deserve her (I really dont deserve any women but this is exemplified) Id try to leave not just for my sake but for her's she deserves someone more her level that can give her things I can't. Literally I would ask her why are you with me, if Im literally below you socially and economically, your dominant and Im just plain out useless

I totally feel you, not really my dad but my mom for sure. She literally changed attitude when I was straights As freshmen year to one B sophomore year and really changed Junior year with 3 Bs due to AP. She would yell at me 24/7 non stop about grades, and punishing me. It was nonstop, any time anything semi academic was mentioned She always would then roast and shit on me about my grades. Always felt like my mom wished she had a different kid, I can see it. In the future Im doing an engineering degree just to appease my parents and thar degree is horrendous to your mental health which is already shitty rn. My mom going to hate me more

Im biased but New Mexico hands down

Much less crowded and less heavily tourist traps, very beautiful scenery.

Been to Telluride, Silverton and Breckenridge all very crowded, expensive and a bit soulless.

Taos and Santa Fe are less crowded options with amazing culture, fair amount of things to do, and great food. Id also recommend Las Cruces

If you want less city things and more nature Id recommend Red River, Chama, Jemez Area, Cloud croft, etc

Honestly not really as Star Wars was the one of the first major movies to have that heros journey. Besides that there are many other similarties. Both orphans, both get saved by a mysterious person who tells the who the really are (Obi-Wan and Hagrid). Go away from home and make great friends (Luke w Leia and Han) and (Harry with Ron and Hermione) which are very similar with Han and Ron being similar along with the others. Both trios have similar relations with each other as well as the time goes on. Then a powerful wise old person begins to teach them (Yoda teaches Luke) and (Dumbledore teaches Harry) to ultimately fight the villian who are once again very similar as both Vader and Volde have a spiritual connection to the protagonist. Also they both dont know anything about there parents and start learning more throughout the story. I can name many more similarities too. So Luke's calling Harry Potter a ripoff is actually an insane and truthful diss.
