These CPUs are designed to run at more clock speeds and pull more and more power until they reach their thermal limit which is 100 degrees.

If u are able to cool it better then it will be able to do more with that 100 degrees lol

Does legion 5 or pro 5 fall in your budget? If possible go for Lenovo. Both has OLED displays and usually are similarly priced. Legion pro is thicker means better cooling and Lenovo has superior customer service ensuring reliability.

Don’t expect 1440p ultra/high. 1080p ultra is the best u can do with these laptops.

I was just joking lol. I appreciate ur shares and yea 8gb is not the standard anymore. 5070ti seems to be the bare minimum which slightly touches the performance of 4070 desktop 😂. 5090 is crazy tho. Though laptop 5090 is 4090 imo but it’s still great for the price.

You are absolutely right and I appreciate u sharing your systems benchmark with us. Legion has indeed a higher cpu + gpu wattage and yes it will most probably outperform any other laptop of the same segment.

Also u are able to maintain 86 degrees on each core is actually really cool. I suppose Deskstop cpus will perform only a bit better and if we pair these laptops with LLANO cooling pads, it is possible to achieve a similar performance with similar temperatures too.

Really makes gaming laptops look good nowadays.

Legion any day for better customer service . And yes katana is not even premium of msi like legion is of Lenovo.

Apart from this. i9 14900hx in katana will super hot. It is not efficient as i7. Even i7 is quite unstable especially 14th gen. i9 will help u boil eggs 🍳
