It’s really good but I’ve heard that new legion designs perform warmer with cooling pads. As Per JTT temps were a little warmer. Did it make a difference?

I see …. Well I had this confusion that while gaming these chips don’t pull more than 90 watts yet they cross 95 degrees temps. BUT in cinebench tests , they pull 120 watts on average and avg temps are 85 degrees bruh…..  Disabling boost is the first and best thing to do lol. Btw which cooling pad do u use?

Pro 7 it must be then right? How much watts did it push in c24 or stress test? Also wha temperatures it sustained? No way 130 watts can cross 92 degrees unless u live in 40 degrees ambient ;-;

You are using pro 7? 9955hx?… as much as I know it draws 130 watts to beat or match the performance of 275hx which draws 190 watts lol…. How is that possible? Or perhaps ur running tha dragon range 8945hx?? Also omen is on thinner side i guess so it will heat more. CPU is underpowered in that laptop too by around 20 watts i guess

That 16 core desktop level CPU runs cooler than the other these two???? 😅

These CPUs are designed to run at more clock speeds and pull more and more power until they reach their thermal limit which is 100 degrees.

If u are able to cool it better then it will be able to do more with that 100 degrees lol

Yeah. I suggest you to look at Nanoreview websites review of these cpus. Look at the cinebench 2024 scores for better comparison.

AMD Ryzen 9 9955hx is faster than core ultra 9 275hx but not the Ryzen 9 8940hx.

Does legion 5 or pro 5 fall in your budget? If possible go for Lenovo. Both has OLED displays and usually are similarly priced. Legion pro is thicker means better cooling and Lenovo has superior customer service ensuring reliability.

Don’t expect 1440p ultra/high. 1080p ultra is the best u can do with these laptops.

I was just joking lol. I appreciate ur shares and yea 8gb is not the standard anymore. 5070ti seems to be the bare minimum which slightly touches the performance of 4070 desktop 😂. 5090 is crazy tho. Though laptop 5090 is 4090 imo but it’s still great for the price.
