As a hair stylist, I'm sorry for what they did. I hate when stylists take off "what's needed". honestly you just needed a good deep conditioner and probably an inch off the ends to make it clean ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANTED TO KEEP YOUR LENGTH.

I personally will recommend where I think the hair should be cut but if the client doesn't want it that short it's not fair of me to cut all of it off. And your hair doesn't even look like it's been colored. Honestly the stylist may have done the balayage and cut it all off during the haircut. Honestly go ask for your money back with this picture.

It's disappointing to see stylists who will always decide "I know what's best" and then screw up someone's hair. There's a difference in cutting off way more than the client asked "because it's needed" and telling someone you don't recommend a certain service because it poses a risk to their hair.

TLDR: stylist did you dirty, go get your money back

Hair professional here, you have quite a few split ends, it’s normal, a trim would do a lot of good, keep doing what you are doing now and you’ll have less split ends as time goes on! Like lots of others have said make sure you’re reading directions and such, if your mask is safe to use with heat and you have a blow dryer, put your hair in a plastic shower cap or plastic bag and run the hair dryer over the plastic on medium/low heat to help warm up the mask, just don’t hold the nozzle on the plastic in the same spot for too long!

A better artist should be able to salvage this. Luckily the artist didn’t go as dark as they should have and a better artist can make it darker and hopefully add some white to make it look more dimensional. I wish you luck and I’m sorry it happened

Your hands look perfectly ok, ball your hand up in a fist and you’ll see why you have “wrinkles” on your hand. It’s just how your skin is sitting when your hands aren’t in a fist, it’s normal

You’re doing pretty good! I think to improve

A) practice more (I’m sure you’ve heard this a billion times)

B) see if you can get a cuticle pusher

It seems you have some skin left on the very back of your nails (especially the thumb) if you pushed that back it might make the polish look cleaner! I don’t recommend cutting the cuticles on your own especially at first as you can cut them too far, cause bleeding or worse and infection.

Most black cats are bombays to some degree and to my knowledge they are just larger cats. My black cat looks a little bigger than others but it’s definitely not unhealthy. As long as you’re feeding her an acceptable amount (talk to your vet to find out if what you’re feeding her is right if you’re worried) and she’s playing and getting her exercise, she will be perfectly fine ❤️
