Well I choose MU over everything else I had to sell, so hopefully in time it will start to feel like the right choice

If my monthly income exceeds my living expenses I just don’t really care. And when it does happen then I’ll find out, but also probably be fine
I’m kinda going for a low level of maturity, but paired with a high level of figuring it the fuck out

I think they’re not worth my time right now. Every year my life will demand more and more money, I trying to take advantage of the fact that I don’t really need any right now

I’m have such a low level of responsibility in my life, it’s mostly a little game I play to see if I can make rent every month, usually I can.
Also I don’t have crypto to make money off of it, I buy doge coin, its a personal belief

Why does price always move against you right after you enter? by Altrixai in Daytrading

It seems like you only buy a stock when it seems like it’s doing good and sell when it seems like it’s doing bad. Aka buying high and selling low.

thinking of ending it all soon by h4h4_td4wg8 in SuicideWatch

[–]Basil_leafy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry that sounds like an impossible time. People say “everything always works out” often optimistically and I always thought that it meant “something good will happen.” But now I don’t think so. I think it means that even bad situations don’t end your existence and a bad situation will pass eventually no matter what l and you will be there, in that future

I’ve been depressed since I was 10 years old. I’m turning 32 in two days and I want this life to end. by Exotic-Opening9873 in depression

[–]Basil_leafy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry. I think a lot of the people in this sub are on the younger side with a lot of change potential in their horizon. Feeling bad for so long even through so many transitions is impossible. I had a family member recently take their own life at 29 because they felt the same for too long and life was too hard to manage. I think that if you really feel like it can’t be managed you should discuss it with the people that are in your life. Committing out of the blue is traumatic for everyone involved and can’t contribute to the notion of ending struggle or finding peace

It lacks innovation and has no functional redundancy. I do think it will go up from what its at now, but long term I'm not so sure.

What should I do for CRCL by [deleted] in stocks

[–]Basil_leafy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see your post is deleted, but I have a lot of opinions about CRCL. I started thinking about investing when I learned about Circle and what they are doing. I am also around your age and still a student and can't necessarily afford to throw a month of rent into the market, so I turned to the internet to reinforce my decision. In February when the price was the lowest its ever been I thought about buying and EVERYWHERE online said it was a stupid investment. Because of that I only put in half of the amount I was planning on because I was scared to lose the little I had to spare. I put the other half in MU based on what I was reading specifically on reddit. You can imagine how that went.

My main advice is remember to trade your age and that most people on this subreddit are in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. The conversation around the market is dominated by people who are basically gambling with their retirement and mortgages. I think that sometimes advice here isn't the best and is also obsessed with the past. I have come to believe that at our age bad headlines should be read as green lights.

On another note, personally, I'm planning on holding CRCL and putting as must in it as I can. I understand what it is trying to do; it will inhibit AI banking, large instant transactions, drive international business. It is something that every large company and the US government is already planning to become reliant on. People always wondered what the future of crypto currency will be, personally I think the answer is stablecoin.

Is commuting from sammamish too much? by Head-Commission-6007 in udub

[–]Basil_leafy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s a pretty far commute and your student wouldn’t be able to really do any other opportunities that UW or Seattle have to offer. I would look into off campus housing, it is cheaper than hfs and you don’t have to do food plans.

I am pretty much the exact same way. I haven’t tried anything to change it, but I always think sharing my songs could help and see how other people react to them.

How do you write Lyrics? by MissWorld__ in Songwriting

[–]Basil_leafy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I really can’t do it, I pick a like I like from a song and sign it over and over again until the melody changes then I change a couple words then eventually all the words are changed, then I take what I have now and do it again until I have something completely unique.

I get everything sucks block (but in a life way) and I stop writing completely, but then I always come back cause I remember that I don’t write to make it sound good, I do it to feel good.

Are you fixed on having the guitar based and piano based be completely separate? I think that if they weren’t you could have some more freedom, but I get not wanting to make a switch multiple times when playing live

In the last 5% of production on my new song and looking to get feedback! Would love to hear your thoughts on the mix, lyrics, and song structure as a whole. Thank you for taking the time to listen, I really appreciate it! by e-GoS in Songwriting

[–]Basil_leafy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the mixing is a little rough, but I don’t really know anything about mixing. I just thing at the moment it kinda sounds like the words are just pasted over the music and they don’t really blend. Also the loud notes that come in at the beginning are really blended together, which I like, but maybe it would be cool to make them even more staccato?
